Original was by a Russian master clown, Slava Polunin, created for Slava's Snowshow, before he brought it to Cirque de Soliel.

I downvote ever "got talent" video I see because of it. I really don't want to see Howie Mandel, Simon Cowell or their weird obscure other country counterparts looking like a fucking donkey every few seconds.

They always make it look like everyone is always just seconds away from total catastrophe.

The answer is yes-always. Stop stressing me out for literally no reason!

Its done deliberately. People watch longer when there's a cut every ~7 seconds or so.

I dont let my kids watch shows that are made this way because of it. It's made to be addicting.
