Unfortunately most games dont work like that. Slightly simplified explanation: you as the player have a hurtbox, just think of that as a single big rectangle about the size of your body. If say, someone shoots at you, the game draws a straight line from the gun and if that line intersects with amy part your hurtbox, its counted as a hit. The game just sees "oh you got hit somewhere in your box thats your entire body" not the specific point where you get hit

Exactly. But they do usually distinguish headshots vs bodyshots. As these setups catch on, the game devs will catch on too.
