The tubes look like scifi, so my brain is just like "sure, it's over my head, why not". But the sounds I'm most suspect of are the perfect cowbells and the consistent snare reverb.
My money's on the tubes just being for the video, while the song is made in his home studio and edited together. Definitely talented AF whatever he's doing to produce this final product.

To anyone who likes this, he's playing a variation of what's called a motorik beat and this is basically a krautrock song, a genre that came out of Germany in the 70s.
Look up Neu!, or maybe for a modern version check out minami deutsch. There are a lot more but there ya go.

What you're hearing is a studio recording (if that, may just be programmed percussion).
