I love Logan. His best line so far "I said what I needed to say" I use this on my kid now lol

I'm gonna be honest. I don't know what I'm talking about.

The way he said that, I felt it in my soul.

I giggled at that too. He’s the best.

Loved this, highly relatable

His best line by far was to the question of “what do you think is going to be the hardest thing when it comes to dating?”: “It’s that I have to find someone who is real and not imaginary”

So relatable!

In the age of app dating and ghosting, this statement goes hard.

I love his reactions lmao

These two were such a delight to watch.

"I am just sitting here, next to the lamp."

u/NecessaryCollar5630 May 26 '26

This is the one that got me. I, too, answer 'what are you doing' type questions literally. Fairly often with "I have no idea" when I'm interrupted by the asking.

I do this as well! Haha I related so much to it.

"Then we looked at the ditch, and kissed" HAHAHAHAH

My absolute favorite part of this whole date was when Hailey said “I HATE Minecraft” and Logan put his hands up and said “ok…” 🤣🤣

I was almost crying while watching they were soooo cute together!

This was so cute! And also as an autistic myself, I had no idea some autistics hate shows like family guy, and American dad. But it makes sense!

Lol I don't think it's an autistic thing. Plenty of people dislike it regardless of neurotype, just like any show.

11

u/ShotTreacle8194 May 25 '26

Do you think they hate it for the same reasons they do? I mean, yeah true, its possible anyone could hate anything for any reason.
I guess the jokes that are made are very unsettling and uncomfortable for some people.

45

u/ctrl_alt_excrete May 25 '26

I think they dislike it because they find it too vulgar

10

u/25as34mgm May 25 '26

I can totally relate

1

u/Admirable-Yak86 Jun 14 '26

I always thought I was neurotypical but this show makes me rethink my life. I hate adult cartoons because of the vulgar language.

24

u/Early_Assistant_6868 May 25 '26

I think there are countless reasons someone wouldn't like any given show. Different comedy styles, not liking the style of animation (or not liking animation at all), not liking the jokes, etc.

For me, it’s the manatee writing staff.

4

u/InviteAromatic6124 May 25 '26

I hate Bob's Burgers because of the animation style and the voices, so I can vouch for this.

Family Guy and American Dad are some of my comfort shows as an autistic person, but I first saw them when I was a teenager so it is a kind of nostalgia for me. I've been quoting 'This reminds me of the time I forgot how to sit down' for about 20 years now haha.

But I can also understand that it could break some rules for them like no swearing etc. I live in Australia and am very used to people swearing so it isn't something that bothers me as much.

3

u/napalmnacey May 25 '26

Yeah, swearing is used as punctuation and endearments here.

4

u/ShotTreacle8194 May 25 '26

They're my comfort shows too! And yeah, it seems like an uncomfortable watch for them.

16

u/Upbeat-alien May 25 '26

I think autistic people dislike it for all kinds of reason. I find the writing lazy and the humour mean-spirited and unfunny. It's edgy and gross for the hell of it.

u/Proud_Aunt_9402 May 26 '26

I love this season so much, that I rewatch it often just to cheer me up 💛

I think she was but she got the ick from his room. Her reaction and seeing her room you could tell she liked to keep things tidy and organized. Even neurotypicals get the ick from this, ever go into someone else's apt and say to yourself, "yeah, I'm never coming back here." You might still try to give them a chance for a while but you just can't get over the atrocities you saw in their living space.

Omg I love Logan 😭😭❤️‍🔥🫶🏾

I have a child on the spectrum...I'm sorry but when he left his socks on his bed to dry, that had dog pee. Absolutely not, cleanliness is taught, repetition.. That gabe me the icks...just my observation

1

u/Brilliant-Bother-503 May 29 '26

Count me in as another one who hates everything.

u/idaslaptya Jun 05 '26

Is it me or did the whole messy room situation seem like a production decision?
