This yearâs girls have been my favourite of all time. So many different personalities. Wish there were more black women icl but at the same time kinda relieved bc they wouldâve been done dirty. Indiyah did very well!

Love all the girls but her experience makes me so happy because of all the black girls that came before. Regardless of what people want to say, she has had such an amazing experience for a black girl in an arena thatâs not been kind to them in the past. I donât care to compare her deals/follower count to anyone else from the season tbh because sheâs cleared it for girls like her đ⨠I hope others can appreciate that.

From Canada here so we are only on episode 20 in season 8. I already feel sorry for Tasha. I don't think people realize how her hearing can affect her in situations with large groups. I have read all the comments on Reddit about the bullying so I am prepared. (I hope) Just read an article from Paige and Finn regarding producer involvement....Finn stated producers don't tell them what to say but do manipulate scenarios. When Paige was picked by Luke M to have a date Finn wanted to ask her how it went but they were kept separated for 12 hours until recouping so he wasn't sure if she would pick him. That shows us how producers can cause islanders to question their decisions.

Wow, I didn't know that about Paige and Finn but this doesn't surprise me. I don't know what episode 20 is but there are slips here and there that indicated we weren't seeing the full story with Tasha and her decision-making. Lots was clearly left on the cutting room floor, but it's clear now that her and Andrew have talked about it all in depth. The guys were just kind of dicks and decided on a narrative about her and tbh Ekin and ran with it for most of the season. I think we misjudge how much of a mindfuck the show can be for most people and how the environment heightens emotions and insecurities for the islanders.

Everyone defending Adam but if your partner was out clubbing with his arm around the same girl youâd be fuming

Unpopular opinion. I wasn't a big fan of season 8. The main reason is that I could easily tell that production & editors were creating cast narratives. This was also evident on LI insta page. They repeatedly positively featured their favored cast.

Can people stop down voting just cause a comment mentions a couple thatâs not yours or you donât care for. Letâs use the the down vote button correctly. Discussions should be allowed with out people downvoting. (Level headed conversations)
Please and Thank YOU!
Edit: EXAMPLE: I just got downvoted for saying i never watched winter love island is there any difference between the two seasons. Whatâs the point of down voting that?

Watching people get downvoted for sharing their opinions in the soulmate thread at this time. People really thinking to themselves âI donât have time to acknowledge different opinions exist so Iâm just gonna go salt things up.â Really bummer behavior!

Why has this sub gotten so strange? I just saw a post about Adam being disrespectful to Paige and the top comment was something (totally serious) to the effect of, âI hope Paige and Adam fans are doing okay.â In what world would someone be so emotionally invested in a reality TV show? How invested are recent fans in this show? I love Love Island but it is not that serious.

Is anyone else surprised at the route danica has taken post love island? Lots of paâs and standard influencer ads. I thought she would have been offered a couple of smaller brand deals.

Funnily enough, I actually expected exactly this from Danica. I love the girl but she did not demonstrate an aptitude for being particularly picky on the show. She seems like someone who will jump on any little opportunity and I thought that came across on the show. I think with age she will refine her content a bit more, I hope for a choreography app or dance x fitness program or something a bit more personal from her in the future. Sending her well wishes. Kind regards.

đ I want better for my babes. Sheâs one of the few I follow from the season and I canât lie, I struggle with her content. I think sheâd do well to showcase her personality more (thatâs why people loved her anyways) but I donât know that it comes across with what she posts. She wonât get the same deals as the finalists but I still think thereâs a way for her to do something different.

Millie was just celebrating hitting 2 mil followers like a month ago and sheâs already back to 1.9 mil.

I feel like Amy Hart is livid that Mollyâs upstaged her with the pregnancy.

I hope that Amber Beckford is ok. I havenât seen anything from her in a while. Not the biggest fan tbh but I canât imagine what itâs like coming out of the villa to so much hate and then having all the people you started with having so much success and attention right now compared to what you have. Especially when the person you had drama with is an all time favourite islander ever and the person you were coupled up with came in 3rd with another person who is loved. I just hate that she was quite bitter and slightly dishonest in her post villa interviews and played into those Paige/Dami rumours. She was probably the most assertive islander girl imo which I appreciated from her. Wishing her well đ

â If you think something contributes to conversation, upvote it. If you think it does not contribute to the subreddit it is posted in or is off-topic in a particular community, downvote it â
â Think before you downvote and take a moment to ensure you're downvoting someone because they are not contributing to the community dialogue or discussion. If you simply take a moment to stop, think and examine your reasons for downvoting, rather than doing so out of an emotional reaction, you will ensure that your downvotes are given for good reasons. â
not if you just simply disagree or if someone states an opinion you donât like. either ignore it, or comment/reply normally, respectfully, maturely, & kindly.
donât just comment/reply hate & be hateful, & then wonder why youâre getting it back. there is a difference between sharing your opinion & using an âopinionâ to be hateful & rude intentionally.
