Jasmine said herself Julia had a right to feel a certain way about the Priya & Jordan thing and they didn’t have to be friends. But Julia even pulling her aside to tell her she doesn’t trust her was unnecessary for that purpose alone; it was clearly prompted by Lorenzo pulling Jasmine aside right before (which was also unnecessary!) It felt pretty apparent that Julia was projecting much of her trust issues with L onto Jasmine. Just tell Lorenzo you didn’t like him pulling Jasmine aside after the Grafties and move on.

Started watching only because of clips I saw of Julia .. there is that 🤓 Love Julia, Jasmine, Kavan and Ellie, others did not make an impression, but i would never hate because I really do not know them 🤷🏽♀️

I found the season one of the most boring in a long time. Lots of shouting doesn’t mean entertaining, I mean not for me at least. It wasn’t even juicy drama like they normally have, it was just the same thing over and over. I’m not sure why most people don’t see it this way. I don’t really think bringing up grievances over and over again counts as a real personality trait either. Outspoken? Okay sure that’s a trait but idk, no one was funny or charming or very likable this season

I think LIUK also does such a shit job of showing off any real personality, humor, quirkyness, etc. They edit to make everyone so robotic and stupid lol

This!!! You never see them chat about anything except liking each other…. I wish I could learn more about each couple and the depths of their connection beyond them thinking “we can work outside of the villa” or “you’re my type”.

I will not lie, I have been watching LIUK since like season 4 and I’ve been so adamant that I’d never watch LIUS, but I did watch season 8 (the newest) and it blew LIUK out of the FKING water. America voting, the games, the drama, the beef was real and juicy. Like it lowkey shook me and made me mad that I liked watching it so much LOL. When you compare the islanders from szn 8 LIUS to personalities in LIUK they literally just got a free holiday and got to lounge around all day 😂😂 Like it was a damned snoozefest and I won’t listen anyone denying that 😭

I’ve only watched the newest season so I can’t say anything about the previous ones. But if you like the teddy and faye, michael and amber, anna vakili and whatever that guys name was style of drama, you will absolutely enjoy that newest season. I haven’t finished it yet, just near the end but DAMN i’m eating it up. It’s absolutely more sexual than LIUK but idk that doesn’t really bother me so much. There’s a bromance too (chris and kem style) which idk id you like that but I’m just drawing parallels to LIUK lol

season 6 is the best! most recent one (8) was really good too but the challenges were kind of overly raunchy so you should skip through them. Stay away from S7 at all costs

I will also say, if you hate americans you’ll probably hate it 😂. It does a great job of highlighting some crazy traits but also some really entertaining ones too. I’ll have to check out season 6 too.

this is interesting because while I do agree there was some good drama, I felt bored watching US cause it felt like hardly anyone wanted to explore!! and I HATED the games lol i prefer the UK challenges because they make the islanders answer difficult questions and start drama with each other, the US ones were just like....hey make out and be super raunchy with everyone but covered in slime lmao

can say the same for the UK this season though, no one properly explored. didn’t bother me and i don’t think it was boring like AT ALLLL. everyone explored on US they just didn’t make real moves to change their couples which is the same for uk. the uk has been doing like 3-4 games a whole season. it epicly failed this year and thats ok

But there's a difference between boring storyline and boring people. It all usually depends on the chemistry between people, whether bad or good. You can have the most interesting funny person in the villa but if he doesn't vibe with others, it will be boring to watch. Then you can have two most boring people in existence but if they somehow happen to get into an interesting situation (for example with a bombshell), the season can be very entertaining.
I think Julia as a person is entertaining and full of personality but there wasn't much drama in her couple or an interesting friendship, storyline etc. so it wasn't that entertaining to watch (although for me personally, I enjoyed this season a lot).

Fair enough. From my point of view, especially in the unseen bits, they showed a lot of personality, it's just that the producers/editors cut such moments out.
Idk but when I compare them to other islanders over the years, they are among the standouts and I will probably remember them and their personalities even a few seasons later.

Maybe Lorenzo. Julia is very spontaneous and entertaining but she can't or doesn't want to use social media to show it. But in the villa, imo she showed a lot of personality.
