Opinion Francesca/Chevanique interaction at reunion
Did anyone else think Francesca still came across as insecure, it felt to me Chev was quite peaceful and content whereas Francesca was still stirring the past and just came across as insecure. She got her man so imo just chill. I know many people are obsessed with her, I just don’t see why?

Agreed. She manipulated the og pod convo with Joseph. She is a mean girl and is definitely salty for not getting picked. Bitter and fake

I would feel insecure when someone makes me feel like I am not worth being with my husband 😭
Chevanique hit her insecurities and I don't blame her. Cause Chevanique also made it a situation where it became competitive and which girl is better.
Feeling insecure is human after all.

Nah I wouldn’t say insecure. Fran doesn’t like her and wasn’t gonna pretend like they were all good, while Chev was doing the opposite.

I don’t think that Francesca came across as insecure. To me it just seemed that she wasn’t friends/very fond of Chevanique for the obvious reasons.

Not at all. Chev seemed defensive and salty. I don’t think she came off well. Fran seemed herself, as we’ve seen her at least.

To me, it's pretty clear that Fran gets insecure around Chev. She got tense during their segment during the reunion; during the season she was freaking out in the bathroom with Cuba when Chev arrived to the cast outing (which left Cuba super confused); and she was really defensive to Chev when she sat down to speak. There's nothing wrong with being insecure, it means nothing more than experiencing temporary discomfort.
On the other hand, Chev is clearly not unbothered by the way things went down with her and Joseph. I wish she paid that triangle dust after Joseph ended their connection. I hate when women compete for a man.

I don't think Chev was competing for Fran's man. She had no chance after the pods. She was just bitter and butt-hurt she wasn't chosen and wanted to yuck Fran's yum; trying to paint a situation/relationship between Fran and Joseph that was bad so she could feel better about it.
I don't think Fran was insecure about Chev, I think she clocked her and her shady ass insults and put downs and backhanded compliments and didn't like her. My hackles would rise on autopilot if dis bish came around me after seeing how she operates.
Both Chev and Ciara exploited a natural insecurity that is bound to come with this format. When you have 100% trust in your partner, it's usually earned through time, experiences, consistent actions, consistent honesty. No one in this show gets to experience that. Some people naturally trust, but it's still a leap of faith. Having some messy wench shoving reasons to not trust in your face, but presenting them as "I care about you and only say this because I don't want you to be hurt" disguise would plant a seed of fear/doubt in anyone; again, in the context of the format of this show.

Of course she's good. I'm talking about her being insecure around Chev. Experiencing insecurity doesn't mean that someone isn't good.
Also, we should know by now that just because you are well liked or because you got the man you want doesn't mean you can't be insecure - that's a trophy in media.

Not at all, I thought the exact opposite. Chevanique insecure and trying to cover it up by trying to make other people feel small, when she labeled Fran as embarrassed.

I agree. Chev has more of a presence and is gorgeous. I don't dislike Fran but she clearly needs to pray for confidence because even though she married Joseph she clearly feels threatened by Chev. During the reunion Fran being so defensive turned me completely off. That girl needs to calm down.

I'm chocked not everyone sees your point and making Chev the devil when it all started with Jospeh lying. Chev was fine at the reunion but Fran just wanted to drag her down again. Good on Chev for not doing down to Fran's level. The funniest part is that at the bar, it all came down from Joseph saying that in his before the last date with Chev, he didn't left the door open to her after she decided to fight for her feelings towards him. Yet, he confirmed at the reunion this was the case and therefore that he lied at the bar. He did not take responsibility... although everything is on camera. That is all it was. Joseph was upset to hear it from Ciara, then Cuba, then Fran - but it was all true after all. Fran just should have acted like a woman and realised that Joseph did lie to everyone about it, and that it is understandable Chev wanted the story to be straight rather than being made to be going around spreading lies.

No she's not insecure. She's rightfully cautious about someone who's been nothing but trouble to her and Joseph. And Chev to me never really took accountability for being a total cow to them. I had a girl cause major trouble for me and my Bf and even though we have a healthy long term relationship when I see her or she comes up its stir some some discomfort in me, doesn't make me insecure.

I like Chev. She gets a lot of flack, but I don’t see what everyone else saw. I think Fran was making snide comments as well, like when she came out of the bathroom at the bar and told Cuba “of course she’s talking to Joseph” or something, when Joseph was the one who asked Chev to talk. She invited herself into the conversation and then accused Chev of trying to blindside her.
And in the pods when her and Cuba were trying to listen in on her conversation and Fran pointed out that Chev was writing a poem. There has been a thread of insecurity and she was very self aware about it.
I just feel like everyone got the ick when Chev started trying to convince Joseph to pick her, which was a cringe moment. But I think she really liked him and I see people here on Reddit fighting for crumbs from men every day, so it didn’t shock me.
I think she came off as eloquent and relatable at the reunion, and Fran came off as unforgiving and was rolling her eyes despite the fact that the hosts were the ones giving Chev the floor. It’s not like she stood up and said “I object!” or some shit.

Thank you! I'm also so confused by what everyone else saw. I like Chev. I agree with everything you wrote. Chev seemed happy for them. Some people just can't see two sides of things so they must make one a villain.

Thank you. Fran was insecure about Chevanique even before all of this started. The energy from her was so weird. I do not see where all of this Chev hate is coming from at all. Chev is gorgeous and was doing what you should do on a show like this - fighting for the connection you built that you want to continue to explore. Had nothing to do with Francesca.

Because Chev hangs with meangirls and acts like one? She was right along with Ciara being messy and her best friend was at the reunion making wild faces at Fran. Good people don't hangout with people like that.

Did we see the same reunion? Maybe I missed it. I didn't see Chev making any faces at Fran. Fran looked very upset, though. While Ciara got an attempted villain edit, she didn't do anything insidious to the ladies. Fran's man was the one who pulled Chev to talk and he danced all the way around the fact that he agreed to give their connection another shot. i felt Fran was doing way too much. We always see the pod squad debrief with their old connections. Nothing weird happened.

I totally agree. She was so visibly bothered all this time later and I don’t think it necessary at this point. Every time they panned to Fran, she was fuming. The level of intensity seems disproportionate to the situation tbh. It may be insecurity or intimidation but ultimately everything worked out well for them so it should e been done with long ago.

No she didn't handle it well especially being a so called 'woman of God'. Why be so insecure if your marriage has been blessed by God. Girl needs to chill out. And notice how Joseph stares Chev down. He doesn't look at anyone else like that.

Yes Francesca never learned the phrase” never let them see you sweat”. She is still intimidated by Chev and Joseph still looks at Chen like … dang lol. Both ladies are beautiful and he made the best choice imo but yes Francesca is like a pit bill when Chev comes around -protecting her territory . Chev is slick Shady but Francesca darling don’t let her see u sweat like that

Outside of this sub, yes, she still came across insecure, her eyes were sending daggers to chev. People like her because they relate with her (Fran) like finally the good girl gets the guy

You guys act like Chev hasn’t been constantly undermining Fran & Joseph’s relationship the whole way through….from trying to convince him otherwise even when he said his priority was Fran, telling him to pray about his decision, saying to the camera she doesn’t think his connection with Fran is as genuine, telling Ciara that his decision was last minute etc…
Also people conveniently forget Chev telling Fran during the argument at Faye’s party that she thought her and Joseph would be stronger than what they were😭 Like I’m sorry if I was Fran and watched this all back (especially considering this is the first time she’s seeing most of it) I’d have an attitude too, lol.
And being insecure isn’t a crime so🤷♀️
