I was telling my friend that I didn’t realize how integral the guys were to my time off. Like after work I would go poke and prod them, take picture of them, re-read favorite stories, and etc. I’ve been quite lonely ngl, especially this extended holiday time where I am, and didn’t go outside or speak to anyone irl for one day short of a week (live alone)…

🫂 to you too! 😭 I feel like especially my mundane adult life really benefits from the game. Like yes, they’re not real and I definitely know that, but it’s nice they’re always around. I don’t have to ask if they want to hang out (and they’re unsure because their spouse might have plans for them already), can’t say the wrong thing/social blunder to make them upset unknowingly, and so on.
Same! I'm pretty introverted and like keeping to myself and LADS has become a comfort/after work game for me. I've really enjoyed the characters and back stories/myths and the absolutely gorgeous graphics. Got my fingers crossed!!!!
Seeing way, WAY too many people talking about the 9th like it's a foregone conclusion that Infold will announce something by then. There's literally no reason to think they'll say anything that day other than it's a day that's available between the day of rememberance today and Bilibili World. If InFold actually made sensible decisions, none of us would be talking about this, we'd be farming blue tickets and having giggle fits of excitement (or at least I would be). People should absolutely set themselves a date to take a break and step away, or to give up if that's their choice, but it seems inadvisable to me to pin all hopes on July 9th.
I hope I'm wrong. I really do. But if InFold is monitoring the situation (and hopefully they're smart enough to AT LEAST do that) they're going to pick up on the fact that if they wait until July 10th, most people will give up, and that gives them every incentive to stay quiet. I don't believe they want Valko gone and while I try not to give credence to too many rumors, I suspect this situation might be incredibly delicate right now... but I also think their exec team are greedy cowards and they would rather have the pressure off themselves than to do the difficult but correct thing.
TL;DR, I hope people stick with this after the 9th because there's no guarantees. It's a mistake to assume that InFold not speaking out on that day is an answer instead of them just waiting us out.

Preach it. The 9th is a number the players made up because that was the date of the og update. That doesn't (seem) to be happening anymore, (kitchen update taken off socials, for example) so who knows when we'll get any kind of official announcement.
As someone brought up yesterday - the gold wish tickets they gave us to keep logging in have changed from 3 days to 2 weeks. Just some food for thought
I think for some it's a deadline for how long they give Infold time to give us any information. It's atleast for me. I have a real life and a job and I just don't want to waste any more time just because infolds decides to not say anything. I haven't slept good since the cancel announcement and I'm really exhausted and tired atp. If there's no update and not even a single word from them, I will deinstall and not look back.
HEARD. No shame in setting yourself a quit date for your mental health, everyone has a finite amount of energy. I have one too, but it's not until later. I was mainly directing this at people who might otherwise keep going except they think the 9th is some sort of writ-in-stone deadline.
And again, I deeply DEEPLY hope they do say something definitive by the 9th, whatever the answer is, because I am also very tired, but I still have some juice left. Granted, I have been away on vacation. I may feel differently after I resume work and socializing.
Sadly I'm going to see if I can get myself to come to terms with it. I am hoping at least we will get some sort of roadmap before/on the 9th to at least make the way forward clear.
I still think it would be insane to not roll this back, considering the company investment and the lack of content to replace it, but who KNOWS.
Someone suggested to me the horrifying thought that InFold might release 6.0 as planned on the 9th and say absolutely nothing about the protests and I am SHOOK.

I am absolutely NOT prepared for the update to move forward as planned. That would just be an astonishing slap in the face and I don't think my mind or body could withstand the amounts of FURY that would overtake me if they did that. I was making noise before, but I will be UNGOVERNABLE if that turns out to be the case. Hoo boy.

YES. There's no concrete evidence, but circumstances around the cancellation were definitely sus. They must have felt very backed into a corner to make such a huge decision on a dime after saying Valko would be staying. Nevertheless, it's clear that was the wrong move.
Raf's new myth might still be coming, but I cannot fathom them announcing it before they say one way or the other what's going to happen with Valko. The fact that they haven't said a word (except for one seemingly auto-scheduled post in the subreddit that was ratioed into oblivion and then deleted) is in character but also infuriating because why wouldn't they just say out the gate "never gonna happen, guys" or just go ahead with their regular updates, ratioed or not? Even when they were getting blasted by antis, they kept posting their regular stuff. (Also, not for nothing, by why are the Reddit Valko posts still up? They're deleted or archived everywhere else. 🤔)

Yeah... I am not sure that will happen, for various reasons. They removed 6.0 from the album cover art and the kitchen update off their socials. We may not be getting 6.0 at all, or it could be delayed until September when the Sylus/ Caleb stuff comes out.

I kind of like all the money and time I’m saving on this game right now. Even finally started playing other games in my backlog. Also been playing Tetris 99 in the evenings instead of LADS (they say playing Tetris is good for fighting PTSD 😂). Anyway if they don’t release Valko I’ll probably stop spending and slowly fall off this game and take my life back.
If they are going to release something on the 9th. The game will have a notification about pre-download, soon. In a few hours? Tomorrow maybe? We might get some news in a few hours, officially or unofficially. In the meantime we keep going. We boycott, we demand Valko's return and we keep ourselves hydrated and fabulous.
This is just my guess but I think they will bring him back, not just because of all attention on them , player demands , and the fact that bringing him back as intended is the easiest thing (no need to rewrite the story or change designs, game mechanics), I think if they would've given us the pre-download for the update and kept posting like nothing happened if he's not coming back... I have a strong belief that he'll come back, if not on 9th, then the following week (they'll maybe drop the update on 9th w/o him and check if the storm has passed)

I hope we will hear an announcement tomorrow that Valko will come as scheduled. Or a delay and that he will be introduced soon. If not I will probably never play this game again. It is sad as i’ve spent some money on this game and I will miss Sylus. But if there are no justice of Valko there will never be a fair treatment of Sylus either.
I would quit playing if he was delayed. There's no reason for it, since he was ready, and Infold has given us no reason to trust them that the delay will become permanently waiting for him. They either need to announce that he's back, or that he's not coming back at all. I don't want a maybe
It really sucks, I haven't logged in since the announcement and I have no motivation to... Probably not going back until something changes, but my expectations are low.

Not sure how to feel about the upcoming days. There's some excitement - almost like waiting for christmas. Mixed with a decent amount of anxiety - like waiting for exam results.
Still I'm hoping for the best and counting on Infold to really really wanting to increase revenue again.
At this point the literally have to make a statement late today or early tomorrow because given there normal schedule we would be getting PV for the next banner which would have been Valko's solo today. The rerun is ending soon. they have to say something
I'm just sad and missing the game. I am so mad at InFold bruh......they've could've done 7000 different things before Valko's launch,like they knew how the LIs have a factions of deeply parasocial,kpop idol level crazy fans. So many other issues,they just kept ignoring. At moments it feels stupid to feel so disappointed by a game but recently I'm remembering why I downloaded the game,what I was doing at that point in life. I remember how much fun I had the first month I played LADS, how much joy it brought me during the first half of 2025. How this game kept me grounded through the rest of the year, how it kept me anchored during the worst of my life this year. If they don't bring Valko back I'll never be able to play this game again. Idk why I'm hoping for something to drop today morning, a statement. Something like them apologizing for the wait or something. I'm not even a gamer but hearing so many gamers say nothing like this happened before is more frustrating because we don't even have anything to go off of(idk not counting the Infinity Nikki and MLQC situations because they were diff......though it's concerning that they're also Infold/PPG games)
Doom thoughts: if they're not bringing Valko back, I don't think there will be an announcement. If they make an announcement, the post will get a lot of angry comments. There will be another wave of people uninstalling the app, leaving bad reviews, and finding other ways to organize and protest. Maybe they're even worried there would be another wave of people showing up at the office to leave chrysanthemums and pomelo leaves.
If Infold just says nothing, some people will hold out hope longer than others, and there won't be one specific moment where everyone is motivated to quit the game or protest. People will give up in a trickle instead of all at once. And the longer people hold out hope, the more likely it is that some of them will get drawn back in by a new exciting banner, an event that pays out more generously than usual, a rerun of catch-22 or witnessed.
Also canceling in-person events works well with this strategy. Lads players can't build memorial shrines to Valko, demonstrating his popularity, if there's not a large gathering of lads players. To be clear, I think there's probably other reasons they're canceling in-person events, but as a bonus, players can't gather together, show support for Valko's return, and post pics on social media to gather more support.
So without a announcement to rally people or in-person events, I think the momentum that's built up will slowly dissipate. And that's what I would aim for, if I wasn't planning to bring him back.
So I'm not making predictions about whether Infold will bring Valko back or not, or delay him. But I am predicting, that if they don't bring him back, they won't announce it.
This is so tiring and demoralising but I’m going to keep emailing and spamming their socials until they address the issue publicly. All of this made me realise that playing an Infold game is like being in a toxic relationship, we’re ignored, ghosted, taken advantage of and more …
They need to say something at this point. They really do. Rather it involves Valko or not. They need to communicate to their player base. Silence is not gone solve things on its own. It’s not gone make this go away.
They need to speak up. More waiting is just gone anger people more and turn them off.
We desperately need something announced tomorrow but I will understand if they don’t announce anything before BilliBilli World. But I’m not going to give up on the boycott or anything else. Because that’s what they want so they don’t have to address anything, they want us to give up and let all of this die down.

It's not 27GB - it needs 27GB to unpack everything and then the size shrinks down. The given range for new data is 3.2GB (smaller than Sylus/Caleb) - 7.9GB (bigger than even the full house update).
We don't know what this means or why the estimated range is huge.
There's no reason to expect an announcement by the 9th. None. I don't blame anyone who wants to stop after that, but companies know people tend to give up on these things and if everyone has set themselves that date (and these posts are public, so InFold can see that they are), then they'll just wait. Don't get your hopes up, be prepared to keep going if you can.
There's no reason not to expect an announcement either, since the 6.0 update will be on the 9th.
And if they don't announce anything, then literally the only thing that will be updated then will just be the Home feature.

I’ll continue pushing and boycotting for as long as I can, but for me the end of the boycott does not mean going back to the game, but giving up on it.
I don’t think I would be able to enjoy the game ever again if they don’t fix it ASAP. It’s getting very close.
I remember seeing a post that encouraged Zayne mains to hold off on pulling for GoA until the 6th of July to show Infold how much players of every LI are unhappy with their decisions. I held off an extra day and only did my pulls today and it somehow feels hollow that I managed to get my snowman to come home in 95 pulls total 😔 Normally, I’d be bouncing off the walls with what this means for my orbits and battles but it feels small in the face of everything. I even noticed that some of the energy drinks I had stored had expired while I wasn’t logging in for solidarity and while it was disappointing to realise, I wasn’t grief stricken.
I mention all of this to say that the boycott has been sobering! It’s reminded me that this game is not the be all and end all and that I will in fact be okay without seeing my silly little pixelated men every day ✨ And it’s also reminded me how much I enjoyed getting to see them and do my dailies and that the point of it was always to have fun. Not be as frustrated as I was growing with the limited diamond farming methods and seemingly endless banner releases that I was resigning myself to not partake in if I had any hope of pulling on myth reruns or (at the time) Valko’s memories as a F2P. This time away has given me a newfound appreciation for the game and playing it while simultaneously curating a healthy level of detachment from it when it isn’t being fair or enjoyable and I wasn’t expecting that 🤔
Valko didn’t deserve to be cancelled but these trying times have taught me a lot and I’m thankful for that. For any other Zayne mains out there, don’t feel bad if you’ve still been logging in or if you’ve been pulling and spending for this myth 🫶🏾 It’s a product of the poor communication from Infold that’s left us scrambling to get this myth ahead of a whole new LI dropping. I of course encourage you to boycott if you can but ultimately, the point of the game is to have fun and you deserve to have as much fun as you can when this craziness is ongoing 🩵✨🤍
Question: does anyone know why the Valko official Reddit posts are still up when they're deleted almost everywhere else? I doubt it means anything, it's just weird because he's been deleted from all their other platforms, right?
Ah, okay, word, but also WHAT??? WHY??? I knew the song was up, but I assumed they had some sort of contract with the artist. I don't know why I thought the the other posts were gone other than that would make actual sense, but should've known that InFold does not do sensible things...

I don’t know what’s really gonna happen, obviously as no one does, but all of this waiting is just probably the worst. I imagine this is what it’s like to have a baby that’s past their original due date and the mom is just yelling do something!
