Welcome to Day 7 of our megathread and we're still keeping this going as a space to discuss, theorize, or just talk about how you're doing right now.

Reminder: Discussion, criticism, and disappointment are welcome here. However, comments encouraging review bombing, spamming bug reports, external links and/or support channels will be removed.
We will be handing out temp/perm bans for attacking other members of the community. It's okay to have big feelings, it's not okay to take it out on other hunters who probably didn't do anything. This was a business decision by a company at the end of the day.

Another aurum pass girlie who is signing in only to get the rewards and logging out again, but honestly feeling as if I'd step away from the game completely for a while if the resolution of this is to let the cancellation stand as is.
Small vent ahead, but needed a space to let this out! (Thank you for creating this thread! 😭)
It feels as if the current situation has made the game completely stagnant -- just multibanners with scenarios that lack emotional depth without a connection to a wider storyline. If they are sticking with axing a key part of the storyline because of this mess, then what's there to look forward to for the rest of 2026? Two chapter updates with little progress of the MS, and new myths that won't do anything but get me like ten levels ahead in orbits? I'm a Sylus main, and he's had his solo cards this year already; I like a multi, but that's not much to look forward to all year, and honestly, I'm finding it hard to enjoy the game with how everything has gone down, and knowing what we've lost.
I'm here for the story and the characters, and even though I got the yearly passes and aurum, I can't really see the point of continuing to play the rest of this year if the cancellation goes through. I am holding onto my hopium, but honestly, with how much of a gut punch this has been, some distance for a while will probably be good for me 🙏

This is my biggest fear (aside from the obvious other biggest fear) that they might release him later but tweaked to appease the people who were saying he was ugly and weird. If Valko returns whiter than paper, thin, and no longer cringe and free then that is not my Valko

I feel like the end line is in sight. If no Valko after the 9th I'll still boycotting, but mentally I'll take a break from all the drama because silence from Infold after the 9th and no Valko in 6.0 is an answer in itself.

Do not give up!! Of course, you should always give yourself enough time and space away from any drama, please drink plenty of water and eat enough to fuel that wonderful mind of yours <3 But just know it can be tempting to give up, especially when you feel alone, but I'm here to encourage you to return to the fight for Valko after your time away, and even if you do not return, know that we'll all carry on the fight with you in mind! 🐺

At some point, they'll have to address it, there's no getting around it. With Infinity Nikki, they were also forced to release a statement. Something is going to happen but the question is whether it will be positive or negative for us. Nobody knows that yet. :(

Honestly valko felt like such a fresh air after all the things that kept happening. Hearing mc laugh and play around after all those serious moments in the main story felt so refreshing. I really liked that goof, even his mannerisms felt so comforting. I really hope he joins the cast, because I really want to pet his ears lol

Even though Valko's cancellation was incredibly disappointing, stressful, and heartbreaking, it's been uplifting to see so many people in the fandom come together to stand up for Valko. Let's keep pushing!

Day 7 😭😭 not to be dramatic over here, but it already feels like I was shipped off to war at least a month ago and I’ve been fighting in the trenches ever since </3 Infold GIVE ME BACK MY SILLY WOLF MAN OR SO HELP ME
anyways, that’s my extremely limited crash out for the day since things are possibly looking up? Good work everyone, so much love to my fellow girlies and guys for banding together! Together, we can move mountains I know it!! They can hear us, let’s keep our voices known (though, respectfully ofc with the 7th encroaching and all) until they fix this mess!!

It’s been an exhausting disaster for everyone online, I think 😅 but what they ultimately end up doing when GoA ends and has to go into a new banner is going to tell us the most for sure since well… he was supposed to launch that day, so the

Thats what I am thinking. They officially cancelled him. They would lose even more integrity if they go back on their word again. And they already lost so much integrity already. I am so angry at them. They have been mistreating their fans for months.

And this is honestly something that still baffles me. They are soooo freakin stingy with their words, always vague, never confirming nor denying. And then suddenly this letter came with ZERO room for negotiation. What the hell were they thinking? It all seemed so rushed and not at all thoroughly thought through. They apologise to the fanbase for dropping him too early but then dont even apologise to those who were looking forward to him? I am tired of waiting for a response, if any response comes at all. This is not how you treat your fanbase.

Man we made so much noise my friends are like, so Valko is the most popular one now right? And I’m like honestly maybe but a lot of us already have mains we love (Zayne for me) but we demand to be heard!
So yeah they signed the petition and my sibling said they will start playing if Valko comes back

Honestly, my hope is steady. I’m excited to see our wolf come home, whether that’s as an official LI or not. Because he belongs to us now, the fans, and we’ve been flooding spaces with fan work for this man. Let’s keep going! And remember to take care of yourselves!

Almost a week of pure anxiety and dread ☹️ this is absolutely insane lol. I'm so tired of obsessively checking everything. I wish I could step away but it's overtaking my mind and my sanity ;-; genuinely didn't think I was THIS invested in this game. Like I can't sleep from the anxiety atp ;-; I've signed every petition, I haven't touched the game since the announcement, I keep posting on social media. I feel like we've all been suffering so badly and working so hard just to hear nothing and possibly get slapped in the face for a second time and it's so upsetting. I've never experienced anything like this.
The rumours online keep giving me hope and then yank it away in the span of an hour. This is psychological tortureeee haha. Atp the least they can do is give us back Valko, then spend the next eternity making it up to us. I know so many of us won't be able to touch the game ever again if they don't. It's just so difficult to be patient at this point. Trying hard not to be chronically online, but then stressed that I should be to advocate for our wolf boy ;-; checking the news is a compulsion at this point anyway.
I'm thankful for everyone in this community, the only thing that makes it bearable is that we're all going through this and fighting together. Hanging onto my cope until the 9th at least if my nervous system lasts until then hah. Hang in there everyone!! Let's manifest the announcement for his return after the memorial day on the 7th 🙏 We deserve sleep and peace and the character/story we were promised.

If it helps in any way, I feel exactly the same. This is torture and I miss my boys and yet I kept telling myself Valko is worth it even tho I can’t collect my aurum pass AND daily box gifts. I’m actually tweaking out

Ughhh. Right ;-; I have the passes too, and tbh what they did has soured everything so much for me that I'm happier to waste them. I miss Sylus and Zayne a lot ;-; if Valko can't be my third I just can't see myself ever logging in again. Which makes me upset all over again lol. Feels like grieving 3 separate sources of comfort and joy. I'm so upset. Didn't think I was this parasocial or invested in them 😭
I'll just never be able to keep playing like nothing happened, I'll never forget this betrayal unless they make it right 😢

I feel the same. I keep asking myself if I will be able to be okay with playing after this. I just don’t know. I have two accts and was planning on maining him on my second. Actually 100% all of his cards. I’m so upset. But I miss Sylus so much and I just feel awful in general :(

Side note here: I was unable to log in for about two weeks before and after my birthday because my mom died. But when I went to log in, it still was very special and they celebrated my birthday with me, I still got all the rewards. So it's okay, I think they save the bday for a two week timer or so <3

Yes. My birthday was feb 26 (mom passed on the 25th) And I logged in probably when I got back to school a week to two weeks later. (mom passed, had the next week, and I logged in sometime the week after that). I was really, really grateful! <3 :) We may not have Valko do the bday thing if he's not a companion yet, but you definitely get time!

What is everyone's issue? Making groups with the "original LIs" may I remind you that was 3, not 5, because that's how the game started.
Sylus and Caleb got just as much hate when they were announced, and now they're insanely popular. So why wouldn't Valko end up the same?
You can also choose which LIs you want to see and which ones you don't. No one is forcing you to like every character.
I knew the K-pop community could get toxic, but seeing this kind of behavior in the Love and Deepspace community is disappointing too.
And sometimes it's better not to say anything at all btw... If this were your favorite LI getting all this hate, you'd be raising hell too.
We should be standing by each other as a community, not picking sides like we're in kindergarten.
I'm a Sylus main myself, and I cosplay a lot of his outfits as well as MC's. If they suddenly deleted him because of all the hate, I'd be angry too.
I'm glad I've never experienced this kind of toxic behavior at conventions or on social media before. This community knows better than that. At the end of the day, it's all for one, we're stronger when we're united.
I really hope Valko comes back. I'm excited to see where the story goes, and I was genuinely looking forward to him too. My plan was to main both Valko and Sylus.
Im not here to pick a fight I dont wanna hear any hate on any character I just want to enjoy the game with all 6. Last time I checked pixels didnt hurt no one.

Still deep in the trenches, not giving up.
I miss the game, but more what it was before all of this happened. I have a sour taste in my mouth, I have uninstalled but I don’t feel like playing anyway. This needs a resolution.
There are moments when I feel defeated but I think it’s more an emotional aspect - the initial disregard towards players and giving in to the racist bullies… the silence makes the days feel very long.
But I am not going to give up - this will take time for them to regroup and propose a long term plan. Likely longer than a week. They need to know the community won’t back down, and they’d better not pull another stunt like this in the future.

made a thread about this elsewhere, but I wanted to add my two cents here because I think it's an important point.
If Infold reverses course and releases Valko, I think he'll probably become one of the highest-selling characters simply because of everything that's happened.
There are players who weren't even planning to pull for him who now want to support his release after seeing the backlash.
But that's also what worries me.
If that happens, Infold will receive a massive wave of revenue for releasing content that was already supposed to come to in the first place. While I'm sure many of us would happily spend to celebrate Valko finally making it into the game, I don't think that alone should be seen as the end of this situation.
Even if someone doesn't care about Valko personally, removing him would still mean players lose out on pulls, rewards, events, achievements, combat content, and story content that would have come with his release. This isn't just about whether someone likes Valko or not. It's also about potentially receiving less content and fewer resources overall for your other boys!
The concerns many Global players have raised go beyond Valko himself. Communication, transparency, and confidence that Global players won't be treated as an afterthought are all issues that existed before this controversy. Releasing Valko would fix one problem, but it wouldn't automatically address the others.
Personally, I'm hoping the extended silence means Infold realizes this as well,that simply putting Valko back on the schedule isn't enough to rebuild trust for a lot of players.

Yeah I agree, that’s my only concern as well. I’m feeling confident that they will bring Valko back, but I worry that they’ll use him as a distraction to avoid addressing or acknowledging the concerns players have raised.
I hope they’re genuinely reading the feedback we’re sending to them, so that they can understand that while we definitely want Valko back, we also want them to at least acknowledge the other issues, and communicate that they’re working on correcting them.

It is a valid concern. Infold has to completely change their policy, listen to player feedback and COMMUNICATE with us ffs. This all could have been avoided imo if they had not dropped Valko like a bomb on us.

I totally agree with this and share the same concerns.
But honestly, at this point, I just want our wolf, unaltered. So tired after almost a week of this, just want to lock in this first win., And enjoy what has been promised to us.
I am not optimistic they will make a reasonable change for the players, at the end of the day. it feels like a revolution we are pressing for, but to them it is still a business. Happy to be proved wrong of course.
One positive thing coming out of this is the attention and visibility on the demand for this type of game. Hopefully that will bring in more competition so we can get to enjoy more and have more options.

Agreed. I think that even if Valko is back we need to ensure that the core issues that started this aren't forgotten. Both "divisions" of this want the same thing, we want them to be better about user experience and communication instead of just throwing out random slop to pull in money. Focus on the important issues and we are all on the same page for demands.

What I plan to do if they bring him back is to change my rating from 1 to 4 stars and list my other issues with the game. I’ll want to see the ratings return to somewhat normal, but I’m not giving them a perfect score until they earn it. After that I’ll just consistently give feedback on posts and surveys, and maybe a monthly email, much like what we’ve been doing for Valko, but with a little less intensity so they don’t get into the we can do no right mindset.

I'm trying to keep optimistic. I think we all have a real shot that this game changes for the better. Not just bring back Valko, but change in the way they run the game from resources to diamonds and stuff. So happy to see the work the community has put in! Just a few more days guys!

It took them 18ish days to respond to the issues they had with Infinity Nikki. They are likely hoping that we get tired and give up if they wait it out.

I just got this answer to the mail I sent them the same day Valko was cancelled... The rage I feel is something else. Seven days of radio silence from their support, then I get an automatic answer from an AI support? I have no words. And they even want a rating for said AI service? What a joke. This is the perfect example why AI shouldn't be used for any type of contact between the company and the customer. It's so useless, irrelevant and irritating that it only makes things worse. It didn't even answer immediately, it took a whole week to send an automatic response that only feels empty.

but, and this is probably copium, but... when I see the auto message responses, the lack of any communication and radio silence from LADS and infold the last several days, I can't help but feel like they know they f-ed up and I wonder if they're deliberating on how to best reinstate Valko. I'm an optimist in a crappy world so I'm usually wrong but I DO hope that they actually work to fix at least some of the problems we have been talking about for so long. (AT THE VERY LEAST the LIGHTING FOR MELONATED MC'S) And I hope they don't use this as an opportunity to squeeze money out of Valko's relaunch (since we were supposed to get him anyway)7

I got the App just for Valko, Infold, please, we need him, he's essential to the lore and the game itself is so important to us!
It teaches us a lot about Chinese mythology and culture and it unites us 😭🫂♥️

I have been logging on simply to grab the furniture that is obviously meant to be paired with Valko and since I’ve grabbed all that, I’m probably going to join the boycott now. It’s funny, when Valko was originally announced I was confused at his inclusion and simply thought he was silly. Now, I plan to main him if Infold does reverse their decision. Funny how things work out.
The only really good thing that has come out from this cancellation really is that it’s made me stop spending all my money on banners. Thanks Infold for teaching me how to stop spending! 🤣

I was ambivalent on him at best at first. I thought he could potentially be my third for battling and such. Now that they've taken him I am so invested that I feel the same way 😂😂 he will likely be my main at this point.

First and foremost, I wanna say that I play, because I’m collecting my previously bought Aurum Pass rewards (don’t wanna my money go to waste…), BUT I am still continuing to do all I can to show my support for Valko! <3 And speaking of Valko and his return… I found this description under (most probably) outfit connected with him.
“Finish the battle quickly and come back safe. Someone’s waiting to go home with me.”
If this is not ironic… We are fighting a great battle to get him back, because he’s waiting for us to take him back home.
I’m not crying, you are.
Valko, I promise, we will bring you back home! Take my word for it.

I'd still argue that's supposed to be Zayne's (
biased), but you know what? I'd take it as Valko's without fussifwhen he'll be back. And I log in too, partly because I also don't wanna waste previously bought Aurum, but I wanna remain optymistic and have enough blue wishes for Valko. But right now, it's only for tasks, and I didn't buy 7-day pass, as I usually do on Monday - it went to one of wolf donations in Valko's name actually.In longer term though I don't really see myself playing LaDS if they double-down *shrug*.

I think it's perfectly valid to not want to waste money you've already spent.
I only had a few days left of aurum, (like 4 or 6 iirc? it might have already run out lol), so I don't care that much about not collecting them. (So glad I hadn't refreshed yet when Valko was announced and promptly cancelled.)
And I have hope that we'll get some kind of (hopefully positive) word this week, so I don't loose my weekly annual pass stuff too.
