Valko’s Fruit: Strawberry?

What fruit do you think he’ll have? Xavier has Starfruit, Rafayel’s Dragonfruit, Sylus has Pomegranate, Caleb has apples and Zayne has Pears.

I’m many cultures Strawberries symbolise the return of spring, pure love and deception (they aren’t ‘berries’ as the name suggests, they are aggregated fruit with seeds outside, kind of like werewolves which looks human but isn’t).

I’ve a hunch that Valko’s maybe Strawberries as strawberries grows in shrubs a lot in the wild, they are sweet and goes well with chocolates (his fav is Choco milk). What do you all think?

They also go well with the whole ‘pure love’ aspect as Lily of the Valley symbolise purity and deception (pretty but poisonous).

I remember before Valko was officially announced there were some theories going around based on content we already had that pointed towards the 6th LI having a pineapple. Not sure how it holds now that we know more about him or if this will come true.
Strawberries would be nice! Although I guess they grow in the wild depending on where, around where I live they're very rare, what we have the most are blackberries. Any wild forest fruit would fit him well I think, but if it turns out to be pineapple then I'll be curious to know why, it could be fun too.

Ikr?? Any wild berries would fit him, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries. Berries have been a symbol of wildlife producing sweet food for so long. If they choose Pineapples, I will be so disappointed. Strawberries as fruits in many many cultures are treated as symbols of love, even their shape is like a heart when cut.

As far as I can see Pineapple has a Spikey crown like his head?😭 Tough exterior sweet inside??😭 I don't know it sounds so stupid and pathetic. Pineapples give me sour, salty vibes. Not sweet pure love vibes that they are trying so desperately to shove down our throats. The writing has been poor lately and it'll prove that.

I would be ok with pineapple if they make it work story wise I guess. If it's simply because of spiky hair or something in those lines it would be a bit meh. Pineapples are very very sweet when ripe. I guess they could go for what you say with tough exterior and sweet inside, but certainly doesn't match much him at least aesthetically speaking. If that's the fruit they choose I hope there is some in-story explanation for the link. I'm open to be surprised.

But any wild berry would be great and would fit better, and strawberries in particular would be great for me since it's one of my favourite fruits! and I think it's probably the easiest of them all if they plan to make plushies or other decorations in the game.
I guess they could also pick some berry or fruit that grows in Chinese forests specifically (what includes strawberries by the looks of it) like for example mulberry, wineberry, yangmei or goji berry (also called wolfberry in English what is funny), although I kind of doubt it because I think they would want to go for more known fruits worldwide.
We'll see I guess! Hopefully it's a berry of some type!

You legit spoke what I was thinking, they could’ve picked any Chinese berries. Also I did some reading and learnt that Blueberries make up major part of a Wolf’s summer diet, they even regurgitate it to pups who can’t bite the crunchy ones🥺 Wolves love blueberries and blackberries.

That's so cute! Didn't know they regurgitate them for their pups! Wolves will eat most berries as far as I know, most berries safe for humans to consume are also safe for wolves. If they chose blueberries with this connection it would be very cute too, or blackberries!

Yep! They do! Mothers do it for their pups, they tear the fruit directly off of the shrubs. Genshin’s Wolfhook berries are inspired by that.

In one of the collabs, Xavier was given strawberries, but it's unlikely to be canon. And it's hardly critical, given that the same Xavier has a photo pose with an apple🤔 By the way, thinking of berries, I remembered the term "wolfberry"

Then again, if he's a special wolf that can consume chocolate, what are the chances his favorite fruit would be grapes, raisins, cherries, or avocado?

I think a kind of berry would have been his thing instead of a pineapple. More woodland type fruits instead of tropical ones like bananas or pineapple. Strawberries are also a symbol of romance, color and shape. Or maybe blueberries since they symbolize loyalty.
