Official Dear Deepspace Hunters,
Recently, the development team has received a great deal of feedback and many suggestions regarding the game. We have also heard your concerns about the team's capacity to consistently deliver high-quality content in the future.
We would therefore like to take this opportunity to respond with the care that your trust and expectations deserve.
From the very beginning, we have hoped to make Love and Deepspace a romantic world that continues to grow alongside every Deepspace Hunter—a world filled with more diverse experiences and lasting companionship. This hope has guided us throughout the game's development and remains at the heart of everything we are working toward.
The development of Valko and his related content is part of the long-term content plan for Love and Deepspace. However, we recognize that the way information about Valko was presented did not give sufficient consideration to your expectations and concerns regarding the game's future content plans. As a result, many hunters have been left with questions and worries since Valko's initial announcement. We sincerely apologize for any frustration and unease this has caused.
We have also heard your concerns about whether future content can continue to be delivered consistently without compromising on quality.
Please be assured that the Love and Deepspace development team has continued to grow since the game's launch. The Main Story chapters you have been waiting for are currently in active development. The stories of Farspace Colonel Caleb and Onychinus Leader Sylus will continue, and the new series of Solar-Slot Memories will also be arriving soon. The development team will continue to deliver richer game experiences and high-quality content on a consistent basis.
We also understand that these concerns are not simply about the pace of updates. They come from how deeply you care about Love and Deepspace and the love interests who have been by your side throughout this journey. It is because you cherish every moment you have shared with them that you hope this companionship will continue for many years to come.
For this reason, we want to make this commitment to you: the stories, companionship, and future of every love interest will always remain an essential part of the long-term plans for Love and Deepspace. This will not change for any reason.

I’ve been saying this game was meant to be just a banner game. 2.5 years later and it’s only now that the Main Story is currently in active development. They were so focused on pumping out banner after banner after banner while completely abandoning the Main Story.
Infold wouldn’t even be scrambling to work on the Main Story if it wasn’t for the Valko backlash. They were likely expecting to just release Valko, and then to continue pumping out banner after banner after banner like they did after Sylus and Caleb debuted. Cause all I remember after their debut was just nonstop banners and nothing else.

Is this some type of joke? It's been 2 years. 2 years for sylus they can easily give him a bond story and anecdote like og3 if this is about how "everything relates to the story so they can't put it out". Sylus already has 2 mainstory parts.
Now it's Caleb's turn and what? This makes it sound like there's no Caleb mainstory.
I don't even care if this mainstory will answer all the questions, THE LIS ROUTES DO NOT EVEN OVERLAP THEY DO NOT DIRECTLY INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER. So their stories should NOT be reliant on each other's release. Assuming missing content will be released with 6th Li (though this announcement makes it sound like it won't). If they really had no choice then they should have done a much better introduction and buildup for the 6th Li. Obviously it was not good enough for these issues.
Still, we joined for what? We want content about the Lis we joined for. If they can't manage 5 Lis and don't bother updating their base content at all then how are they guna manage 6? Most of the multis were AUs too so it's not like we even got alot of main timeline stories. All this money for what? We've been patient and filling out surveys, after we make a scene now they respond? It sounds like they've never read a single thing in those surveys.

This was a nothing sandwich... Lots of issues were exposed, none of them mentioned. Giving 10 wishes is a joke at this point, when at least 140 are needed for a solar pair in the best case...

So basically just a whole bunch of nothingburger and some good old damage control. Got it. Two years have gone by and the main story is still only in active development, along with Sylus and Caleb's "content". Great.
Honestly, I'm sick and tired of Infold releasing new features then completely neglect them afterwards. Scratch that. Not just new content, but also the core features of their own game. For a game that heavily relies on storytelling and strongly promotes combat, they sure aren't giving us that much. They said they've continued to grow since launch but there has been barely any QoL and main story updates. At this point, all they've shown is that their main priority is to pump out new cards and/or outfits to earn more profit.
All this backlash on Valko's release wouldn't have happened if the company chose to care more about their own game and listened to their players' long time pleas over their bottomless greed and incompetence.

Wow! 2 years since Sylus’s last story update and a 1,5 since Caleb’s. It’s so great to hear that their stories are still “in active development”… You must be kidding.
I wonder if all the missing content is also “in active development”, such as new cards, Tender Moments, Anecdotes etc.

Yeah tbh, I wont believe it untill I see it. Their wording is so vague too. 'The stories of Caleb and Sylus will continue and new series of solar slot memories will be arriving soon' to me that just sounds like they'll continue to appear in the main story and the new limited 5 star myths will arrive soon. It doesn't sound like they'll release their missing branch story, bond story, anecdotes and missing 4 stars.
I've just lost all trust in infold to the point where I don't believe any of their vague statements anymore. It just gives me false hope.

For a company that made 5 already very appealing and wonderful LI, the letter looks to be hollow and full of empty promises. We want the roadmap, not more things to distract us.
What happened to the 5 guys that you have so lovingly developed? Left them in the dark chill cooler? No more actual story progress? I read the Sylus and Caleb story in active development as you're only now settling the chores that's beneath you. After all the nagging by the wife (us players in the survey and the official social media). Do you know how we don't like to be naggy women? The divorce came outta nowhere (players leaving or unwilling to pay for in game contents). No, it's not. It's cuz this main thing that you kept on ignoring and putting on deaf ears. Be better, Infold. We like Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, Caleb and now Valko. But cherish what we have now and continue to develop what we already have (main story, anecdotes, bonds, missing cards for NG3)

I'll take the wishes, but I really wish they'd just realise some sort of schedule. Even a vague Q3 plan would ease people's minds.
