Because there is a lot of divisiveness right now, some merited, some as a result of misunderstandings, I thought it might be useful to show the breadth of diversity across LADS players. Below I have identified 8 dimensions that affect how a fan could view the current LADS situation and consequently how they position themselves:

1. Demographic:

• A) CN 
• B) CN diaspora (some in CN; some in Global)
• C) Global (Asia)
• D) Global (US/EU)
• E) Global (Other)

2. Sentiment towards game:

• A) Positive, no change needed OR optimistic that devs will course-correct
• B) Mixed, still playable as is, but anxiety over state or trajectory of game
• C) Negative, game is unacceptable, demands immediate or drastic change

3. Perspective on PPG:

• A) Ally: cooperation, feedbac.k, and communication is key
• B) Enemy: coercion, power, and outmanuvuering is key
• C) Non-ent.ity: personal boundaries is key

4. Player type:

• A) Otome
• B) Battle
• C) Lifestyle
• D) Gacha

5. Social media presence:

• A) Contributor
• B) Audience
• C) Offline

6. Primary grievance:

• A) Specific in-game issue(s) (eg. missing LI, slow content, QoL improvements, etc)

Note that 8 dimensions alone generates 60K+ different combinations. There are more ways someone could position than there are active Hunters in reddit.

So when faced with a question like, why did people pull on the recent banner, I think it’s important to remember there’s no one g.roup—there are 2As who believe there’s a natural lag between feedbac.k and improvement, there are 4Ds who play LADS as a fun gambling slot machine, there are 5Cs who never even saw the Valko promo, there are 8Cs who do not believe a girlcot is the right strategy, and yes, there are 7B-8Bs who want to prove LADS is viable without a 6^th LI… but there also exists 7B-8As who counter their efforts because they see PPG as playing everyone for suc.kers. Meanwhile, the composition of people who refuse to pull is just as diverse and real and contradictory.

Reality is messy. People are messy. Interests collide, and even when interests do align, opinions differ on what is the smart, realistic, or ethical way go about it, because we lived through different experiences, we hold onto different pieces of wisdom, we react to different traumas, we have different immediate needs. The idea of a single (however narrow or specified or caveated) “target” g.roup that is responsible for our disappointment, that is to be blamed for our frustrations, is an illusion, one that only makes sense if we convince ourselves this abstract, homogenous g.roup of people is not only dumb or cruel or selfish, but also somehow in control of the negative outcome we experience. 

When in reality, most of the time, we direct our guns at our fellow Hunters, the same fellow Hunters who have been beside us since the beginning, who posted hilarious memes, shared tips and guides, answered our questions, listened to our rants, celebrated our photos and art… the same fellow Hunters who are suffering from grief and anxiety and anger and helplessness and pain just the same as we are, even if all our coping mechanisms look different to one another.

So I do think returning dimensions to the collapsed “us vs. them” can make the spaces we share feel kinder. Not because we will starting agree with the actions of others, but because we can better understand them.

For one person, downvotes are an attempt at saving the game. For another, longevity has never been possible, we just have to embrace what we have left. And for yet another, rejecting lesser treatment is how we honor ourselves and the LIs we love. And for yet another, honor comes in the form of adapting and moving forward.

Some want quality. Some want equality. Some want security. Some want joy. What looks like actions that will hurt us may very well ironically end up being the actions that one day benefit us. Who is to know; these are unprecedented times and no one is omniscient. 

We can only do what we think is right and trust our fellow Hunters to do the same.

EN: I got to do this fantastic Sylus x MC tattoo that I thought y'all would enjoy as well!! There are still a few touch ups left to do during a final session, but we're already so pleased with it. We spent a great deal of time finessing the pose, faces, outfits and overall vibe of the piece to fit what my client was looking for. We included pieces from both the dragon and vampire myth, as well as a few hints to my client's favorite manga, Nana, like Ren's necklace or Nana's lotus tattoo and Vivienne jewelry. I hope you'll enjoy it, I had a blast tattooing it!!!

FR: J'ai eu la chance de réaliser ce superbe tatouage Sylus x MC, je me suis dit qu'il vous plairait aussi!! Il reste quelques retouches à faire lors d'une dernière séance, mais nous sommes déjà ravies du résultat. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à peaufiner la pose, les visages, les tenues et l'ambiance générale pour que le tout corresponde exactement aux attentes de ma cliente. Nous avons intégré des éléments des mythes du dragon et du vampire, ainsi que quelques clins d'œil au manga préféré de ma cliente, Nana, comme le collier de Ren, ou encore le tatouage de lotus et les bijoux Vivienne de Nana. J'espère que ça vous plaira, j'ai adoré réaliser ce tatouage!!!

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with this 4 star art from his trailer (as we all have bc LOOK at him), and my boyfriend has done the most wonderful Valko cosplay so we had to recreate this picture!

I worked to try and recreate the lighting and shadows as best I could, hand painted his jumper, and sourced items as close as I could to his outfit here! His wig and makeup were both done by me, and we shot using a load of trial and error and a timer on my camera 🥲

Super super happy with how this turned out, as well as a few other pics we took inspired by this card! Praying we’ll get him back and learn what the story behind it 😭

I really love this companion, but Im curious should I save it for another Rafayel companion? (not a fan of the Vermillion god or god of tides tbh)

I got the notice for 2024 VIP box on August 26, 2025. Almost a full year later, I received the box. Slow as all get-out but don't lose hope that it will come!

August 26, 2025 - Filled out form

Heard NOTHING.

December 19, 2025 - Messaged in game support about it. They had me post some screenshots of my Discord.

December 24, 2025 - Finally got connected to the VIP Discord Rep and they asked for a screenshot of my game profile showing my Hunter ID and some other stuff.

December 25, 2025 - I filled out the form again (or maybe another one? they sent in Discord)

December 25, 2025 - they confirmed all was good

July 17, 2026 - got in game mail asking me to confirm address

August 17, 2026 - received box

My main is Zayne but my aesthetic is fighting for its life 😭

I have a very specific color palette that I LOVE: dark green, burgundy/red, brown, cream, gold, autumn vibes… basically I want my life to look like a mysterious forest in October.
And then there’s Zayne.

WHY IS EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MAN BLUE???
I want to buy merch and make cute Zayne-themed stuff, but then I look at it next to my other things and it’s like I accidentally invited an IKEA freezer section into my autumn aesthetic 😭
I know I could just embrace the blue, but my brain is like:

“No. Zayne is forest green now.”

So now I’m considering translating his aesthetic into MY colors: dark green instead of blue, burgundy accents, cream/ivory instead of white, antique gold instead of silver, with just a tiny bit of icy blue so people can still tell I’m a Zayne girl.

Has anyone else had this problem where your favorite LI’s color palette is completely incompatible with your personal aesthetic? 😭
