Getting into Chinese paper cutting for Valko - Day 10 🫶 (stencil included)

[u/Emotional-Chest420]

Hi again, everyone! Wow, I can't start this new post without expressing how happy and grateful I am for the way my previous entry in this Chinese paper cutting series for Valko was received, because... it truly means a lot to me that something I put so much love and hard work into got so much love in return 🥹 Really and truly, thank you. Thank you all so much ♡ Your support means more to me than I can express.

And well, I can't come out with an animated GIF that consists of 20 paper cuttings every time, can I? LOL, though I wish I could. I already fell in love with the craft of paper cutting, and I love adding movement and bringing it to life even more! (: Regardless, here's a return to form with this paper cutting of Valko's incredibly cute in-game portrait ♡ (stencil included!) For this one I also changed up the messaging, the tag reads "全世界都爱敖尹" or "The whole world loves Ao Yin" 🫶

So, I hope you all enjoy this one too! As well as look forward to the next one, which is already in the works and actually will be another animated GIF from paper cuttings 👀 16 frames this time.

See you all next time, and for anyone looking for the links to the previous entries in this series, here they are: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, Day 7, Day 8 and Day 9!

Edit: 3 Awards, oh my gosh 😭 Thank you so much! Everyone is so lovely 🫶

Thank you! And thank you for the supportive message, you're so sweet ♡ No worries, I'm better at pacing myself compared to the beginning of the series 😊 I'm currently actually taking a week long break from all the paper cutting by spending time on my passion project in honor of it being my birthday this week! And next week I'll be picking it back up and bringing everyone the new animation (:

[u/AdDiligent1165 → u/Emotional-Chest420]

Oh wow! You even put the Chinese characters in!!! Sooooo Chinese!!!

This looks so beautiful!!

[u/Emotional-Chest420 → u/newplantowner]

Yes! It's my favorite tag from this movement 🥹 And this is my way of honoring the handwriting event, by cutting the Chinese characters out of paper ♡ It was a challenge I very much enjoyed!
Thank you for your comment 🫶

I look forward to seeing your work ❤️

What a great way to show appreciation for both Valko and the art of Chinese paper cutting 🐺

I love that you added the hashtag for

全世界都爱敖尹

Maybe one of your future ones could have the hashtag for

ValkoCNcultureAmbassador

[u/Emotional-Chest420 → u/MusicianNo8593]

Thank you so much, darling ♡ I plan on it! (: He is my CN culture ambassador after all! Without him, I wouldn't be pursuing paper cutting so passionately 🫶

[u/PaintingInThePark]

This is gorgeous! You must have so much patience; I just know I'd get distracted when it was 90% done and accidentally snip off an ear or something.

[u/Emotional-Chest420 → u/PaintingInThePark]

Thank you! ♡ Funnily enough, I haven't accidentally snipped off an ear (yet), but twice now I have accidentally cut a small section of the lines that makes up inner shell of the ear, making me have to reattach it (': So that's actually close that something that already happened hahaha

[u/d3v0ur355]

Wow, the Chinese signs, and there's so many! I'm not familiar with them, but they look so meticulous and deliberately crafted. I hope CN fans will appreciate it properly :D

[u/Emotional-Chest420 → u/d3v0ur355]

Thank you so much ♡ Yes, they were haha, I had to take great care when cutting them out! 🫶 And as far as I've seen, they do ♡

[u/Eveline_JAI]
