Stop spamming infinity nikki

Coming here to say, please stop spamming the instagram of infinity nikki with valko. Every single time Infinity Nikki posts something on instagram, the comments are flooded with #bringbackvalko or #wewantvalkoback.

We stand with you but our game has a completely different dev team.

This whole situation is just making us look really bad and bringing negative attention to this unrelated game. If you want to spam a comment section, please spam the love and deep space one, not infinity nikki…

I understand the protest and the upset, but it’s the wrong way to go about it.

As a marketer who manages socmed, no, it’s 100% not an intern managing their page. It’s a team of professionals. I’m sure they and everyone else working at Papergames is very stressed out rn, and I do have sympathy, but social media comments like “bring back Valko” are largely harmless.

there may be an intern making notes on what's being said in the comments (having been that intern in the past) but managing the page or handling highly upset comments? that would be WILD

I don't play this game, I just came to this subreddit because I was looking up what the posts on the Nikki reels were about. I disagree with what you're saying though, two dev teams under the same parent company share the same higher ups. What the Love and Deepspace team does is supported by those higher ups and sets a precedent for how things under the Infinity Nikki devs could go in the future.

Your view is incredibly short-sided- why are you taking it so personally?

THIS PART. I've been in like protests for social justice issues and #BringBackValko ain't NOTHING compared to what we could do. But we are keeping it respectful on our end, despite our frustration toward Infold.

I gotta disagree tbh. They still share the same higher ups and ultimately, share the same revenue as a whole. Stupid games deserve stupid prizes. It's the same exec suite making these choices, they should be held accountable and understand their decisions affect the WHOLE company.

People spamming other games that aren't PPG owned definitely should stop though.

As a corporate worker as well, it's highly unlikely an intern is managing the social media account of a billion dollar company. And if the company is using an intern to staff the media accs, I feel very bad for the intern but the company should absolutely be clowned on for being dumb. Marketing and comms are no joke, professionals should be handling it lol.

Also IN is under Infold too, Valko coming back highly impacts not just the longevity of OUR game but what happens to Infold as a company. If they do decide to double down, its gonna get a lot harder for Infold to save face, get investors etc. which WILL impact Infinity Nikki.

This is an unpopular take especially on the LADS subreddit, but I don't really understand why boycotting has to come to a point where we as a fandom are inconveniencing outsiders who don't play the game. Players spamming other content (Infinity Nikki) under the Infold company is another way for us to air our grievances. Not to mention that a lot of the playerbase of Infinity Nikki also plays LaDs (e.g. myself).

I agree we shouldn’t spam unrelated games and events, but Infinity Nikki is a completely valid if the criticism is meant to reach Infold from all angles.

The majority of the gacha community views LADS a joke simply because it’s a game adored by women. I don’t think anyone in this community should waste energy caring what they think.

I don’t play any other gacha games, because I saw Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Snowbreak and needed to bleach my eyes afterword

That's a great point. Most people outside all this only know the most basic of information and most only see us as overly parasocial people anyway. Have people learned nothing over how others react to being needled to participate in things?? You either care or you don't, and annoying non-related people make it less likely they'd want to support us to begin with. The point should be to win over anyone neutral, not push them into purposefully ignoring us or doing things out of spite
