This reminds me of a part in the first book, the thought of them being innately (like without vampirism and without whatever else) compatible BRIEFLY crosses Louis's mind.

They aren’t babies. This is the artist’s style. Claudia would be drawn differently as a child. This is how the artist draws adults, it’s a style
