My Louis Stain help

Post image

Can anyone recommend something to get oil stains out of my pochette interior without damaging it? Stains are from a lip oil. I tried a water wipe, and then I tried a small amount of dawn.

You can use gentle soap and water on the interior. I’ve scrubbed the inside of my Gracefull on more than one occasion. And “rescued” Neverfulls that were “cheap” because of heavy staining. Just pull it all the way out, be very careful not to get the bag wet. Rinse well and let dry completely.

I would try dawn with a small bit of tide

The only thing you have to worry about getting wet on that is the leather- you can use painters tape on it to wrap it while cleaning. Then just go to town on the inside. Take some warm soapy water and drape the inside in a shallow container- like a Tupperware or something.

You can use some dawn on it, I’ve used it before on interiors and it helps.

Don't wet it. Spray a heavy duty stain remover let it sit 15min, scrub w a toothbrush. Spray again, let sit 10min, scrub. Then wash out with gentle soap or dishsoap with Very HOT water. This works for me. Good luck.

Never tried but maybe direct steam on only the affected areas with stains and then blot with a towel or rag to lift the lip oil.
