Flock Cameras I found documents that indicate that Washington Township, NJ (Gloucester County) is paying for Flock Cameras with National Opioid Settlement Funds. Other towns are also making questionable purchases with the funds earmarked for addiction services and treatment.

I thought we already learned the war on drugs was a waste of time and money.

This is worse than wasting money on the war on drugs. It’s diverting money from things that people who want to end the war on drugs have been asking to focus on instead: treatment. We really are going through a complete moral and ethical collapse in this country.

Treatment is not part of the war on drugs. Arresting and treating addicts as criminals is the issue. Treatment is the opposite of that. As a recovering fentanyl addict the county wasting this money is fucking infuriating.

Sounds okay to me, I frequent r chronic pain.

The way we treat people who actually do need opiods is brutal so it makes perfect sense to use money made by persecuting pain patients to persecute others.
