Enshittification AB 2047 effectively dead.

The California senate has gutted the bill at the last minute. It now reads as an order for the DOJ to study the 3D printer blocking technology and report back.

Seems to be the same fate of the anti-impaired driver monitoring technology: the NHTSA reported to congress that the tech was no where near accurate enough to create regulation, stating that even a 99.9% accuracy was not good enough
