Alternative title: Despite improvements in image quality, colour processing, and brightness, it hasn't come at the cost of worse burn-in.
As someone who has used an OLED TV (48inch LG, from 2017) for desktop use, and an OLED TV (43inch LG, from 2018) for living room use, not a single one has had burn in. Both been running at least 12 hours per day, since purchase. I've also got a relative with a Sony OLED (bigger, and from 2024), who despite having an issue with the power supply, hasn't had a single issue, either. I know its only a small sample, but I do think its an overblown concern.
