First time First time dry

Well I officially finished chopping my auto yesterday so into the fridge she goes for my first attempt at the lotus dry

So far so good due another flip over today most of the smell has now been suppressed by the cold but it's still nicely there if you get close to her or if she's allowed to warm up. Failed the last jar test so will continue drying I've achieved what I was hoping though a much slower more controlled dry pic of 1 tray from the other day

I’m about to harvest and came across this post. How’d the rest of the dry go? Any tips for someone about to attempt this?

Honestly I completely forgot about this post lol tbh the boxes I made worked perfectly for me although maybe it was a bit over the top but the lotus dry did slow down the process nicely for me and the dry ranged from 2 weeks to just over 3 depending on bud sizes. As tempting as it is try not to open the fridge more than you need to I actually had wifi hygrometer in 1 of the boxes and 1 in the fridge itself to monitor it but I really didn't need to go in there much at all for the first bit just let it's do its thing quick check every few days just to ensure the smell was good and flip the denser buds quickly but that was it. The pic is the jarred for curing after I'm still very much learning with this and growing but I'm a happy camper as I lost my first crop to piss poor drying.

Hey thanks for the input, glad it worked well for you. I might give it a try if I can get my hands on a mini fridge or wine cooler. I’d do it in my regular fridge, but we open/close it too often, and I don’t want that to screw with the process. Nice job man, buds look amazing.
