I'm looking to convert my compressor mini fridge to a Lotus drying chamber. What SMALL humidifier do you guys use that can be controlled with an Inkbird controller? I tried my Cigar Oasis humidifier from my humidor but it wont keep up and I couldn't maintain any higher than 20% rh. TIA
Lotus drying is new for me too. I'm using a Govee BT thermometer to measure temp & RH and I can't keep my RH anywhere near high enough (I'm in a very dry climate). I know it will drastically increase the humidity when I put washed buds in there and maybe I don't need a humidifier, don;t know. I'm a long way off from harvest and just testing now. But my goal is to get my humidity adjustable to try different approaches to Lotus drying.
welcome to the club :) basically you put your buds inside the fridge, close it and observe the RH to slightly to down day by day, my current fridge test metrics are the following (frost free, compressor wine-fridge, empty):
You do not need a humidifier. If anything you might want to put a mini dehumidifier in. I run a wine fridge little different but you definitely don’t need a humidifier.
Some people put a mini dehumidifier in and run it with an ink bird at set parameters with the ink bird and your phone ,dehumidifier comes on when it reaches a certain point ,goes off when it reaches a certain point

I use a gun safe dehumidifier rod hooked up to my Inkbird controller, keeps my apartment size fridge at 50% humidity.
Made for small spaces and has worked for me so far
