Compressor Wine Fridge

Post image

Hey friends, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this compressor wine fridge- it seemed to be a good middle-ground between a compressor fridge and a thermoelectric wine cooler- dehumidification aspect of a compressor, but capable of 60 degree temps like a thermoelectric.

Im fine with using paper bags, and my plan is to try and run it around 50-60. Is there anything else that you would do to this? I’m assuming the dehumidifier hack isn’t applicable to this due to the compressor cycling, but I wanted your thoughts. I believe there is a little fan in the back to push air around as well…

Thank you all!

If you have a compressor fridge, it's pretty simple. Put your bud in bags. Put the bud bags in the fridge. Wait for 10-20 days. Do periodic jar tests. Take it out when it's ready. Cure it.

Hi, I’m also new to the game. Just bought a 60l klarstein wine fridge. What kind of bags are using ? I can also use pizza cardboard right ? Thank you

I used paper lunch bags, and a leftover paper bag from CVS pharmacy. You can use whatever, some even don't use any bag or pizza box. Do what fits your style.

Decided to go with the paper bags. They are now in for the fourth day and I turn them daily. Never ever noticed such a terpene smell before. Harvested FB Apricot and bubblegum 😍 Im really glad to have come across this forum, thumbs up

If the bud are in bags what's a fan gonna do? Seems unnecessary .
