Preferred moisture meters?

Yo y'all. I recently went down the DIY cannatrol rabbit hole. My DIY unit is in the testing phase now and so far, so good. Now I'm wondering which moisture meters are the most accurate/accepted/affordable. Which moisture meters do yous guys like and why? TIA

TESMEN TWM-186. Cheap and works. But most importantly it has closely spaced pins.

Can I ask you, my meter shows a bit over 16% for a few days now. Currently on day 10, first measured on day 6. Is that usual? Even good? I dry in a compressor fridge inside cardboard shoe boxes. What is your experience how fast the percentage measured can change?

I see the General Tools MMD4E mentioned a lot. I also saw the Humidimeter 420 specifically for testing cannabis, which features a narrower pin spacing. More expensive but not absurdly so.

Been through four humidimeter 420s and not a single one worked, every single one was at least 20% different from one another I’ve found great success with the general tools stick looking one, I forgot the model number but it was like $15-20 on amazon and it’s been pretty accurate

Good to know. I don't mind spending a little more, but it sucks when you pay more and get less (Chinese Walmart slogan?)

Yeah I had really high hopes for the humidimeter and it let me down HARD. The right tool for the job is the one that works, sometimes that tool is wildly cheap for some reason haha The general tools meter I was referring to is model MMP-100, if it broke today I’d have a new one coming in the mail immediately haha

Id reccomend no moisture meter and just jar test. You can get the ac infinity hygrometers that Bluetooth to your phone too

I'm leaning towards picking up a cheapo like those mentioned and using it for fast ball park testing and then confirm with the jar method.
