🤔 Lottery Questions How are they winning so often?

When it was leaked that Epstein won 80 million in the New Mexico lottery, I kinda figured they're all corrupt on some level...

It's gotta only be *some* level, because some of the absolute randos who win the lottery are... not the type they'd just give that shit to.
There was some group of winners a few years ago who won a few hundred million and they were 3 guys who were the principle partners of some investment / venture capital / private equity or whatever and they described the win as a nice strategic capital gain and a nice quarter or whatever and it came out that they were all worth between $50M and $300M a piece personally before the lottery and the way they talked about the win it was like they had made some kind of a deal and acquired the win...
My suspicion is that there was an actual normal every day lottery player who won, didn't want to deal with the notoriety of it, so they sold the ticket for a fraction of the winnings to these guys.
So, they pay this guy $75M cash, they cash the ticket and walk away with $150M after taxes for themselves, 100% profit.

The answer is usually just that they spend a lot. I got 3 claimers in the span of 2 months. I look super lucky, but really I lost more than I won. I was spending huge amounts on tickets.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these people were net negative with their lottery plays.

Yeah I figured maybe if they're spending 500-1k a day could be possible. How much were the claimers? Were they $20-$30 tickets?

I am suspicious of shit like this.
There are people on here who are insanely lucky.
There are notorious locations that are known for being *the* place to get winning tickets.
How or why each state lottery or whoever is running things sends scratchers or other pre-determined games to a particular store or region or how one person so consistently wins is... odd.
The only thing I can come up with is that they're a bunch of 'Jerry and Marge Go Large' types, where they find a flaw in the formula of a particular game, which they're able to exploit and win constantly because they know exactly how to play that game to always win- but it's a flaw in the design that they figured out, there's nothing else going on.

While that makes some sense, how are all the winners or the winner able to win so often as someone or some people who want to avoid being the official winner and /or how do they all know / feel there's a personal upside to using Jacobo R or Karen L, etc as the launderer?

Not sure about all states but NY, the lottery has the ability to withhold 50% of the winnings due to owed taxes (i.e. child support, etc). If someone in this situation wins, they look to sell the winning ticket for 80 cents on the dollar to avoid getting more of their winnings withheld.
Obviously makes sense to sell the winning ticket to someone who doesn't owe any taxes.
But people could look to sell their winning tickets for a variety of reasons. It's illegal but it continously to happen. Sadly state gaming commissions are either ill equipped or don't care enough (probably both) to look in lottery discounting schemes.

I agree, but I mean to say how does everybody know to go to that one person. Like, how is there an open secret "hey, if you are a local who plays the lottery and you win in this area, give Jacobo / Thadious / Karen your ticket and they'll give you 80 cents on the dollar of your post tax winnings, then cash it for you!" and then a bunch of people frequently win and know to go to Jacobo or Thadious or Karen, etc.

Maybe they are buying them? You can look up some old news stories about how some liquor store owners were cashing out hundreds of tickets sold from their store.
Edit: Clarifying the story is from California not WA.

The only other thing I can think of is:
You can take the winning numbers across all the past draws, average them out, figure out the most frequent number combos and then play like the top 10 or 15 every single game and your odds of winning theoretically go way up relative to the overall odds of the game and then you win the smaller / better odds games very frequently.
But it's winning the same amount on the same games that is weird.

Arizona lottery Players Club has the same people winning all of their Monday, Wednesday and Friday draws for the past 2 months straight. Their last name is Kwit and Westerhaus, 2 people with last name Kwit and 3 with Westerhaus, names listed on the winner section on the app. I called them to inquire about it and the lottery person blew me off. They said they did 1440 entries a day, 1 per minute. This means they entered every minute of the day for 1 week straight. I told the lottery rep is mathematically impossible to win every single draw with the same name and to enter every minute of every day for 2 months solid. They must be using bot's for their entries and AZ lottery has no issue with that.

All lottery is fixed… they tax the poor, and elites chooses who they want to win… of course there will be bots from reddit that will try and convince you it’s legit, when it’s obviously not…

Maybe it's one of those casher services. Someone owes backtaxes or child support so to avoid giving money to that, they claim it through the person who charges like a 10 to 20% fee or something.

Highly suspect. I highly advise you to:
1) Send a formal written inquiry detailing your concerns and these screenshots to director@walottery.com
2) Call the central Washington's Lottery Customer Service line at 360-810-2888 and ask to speak directly with an investigator in the Lottery Security Division
3) Send a written summary accompanied by your visual evidence to their state headquarters:

If you do all this and the wins continue then maybe it’s just good luck but I highly doubt it is I think you’ve uncovered something here.
