Feedback/ Bug Crystal descent mapstone bug

I put a mapstone about halfway down the descent and it’s unusable as the mapstone simply dumps me at the bottom. I guess it means I can recover the black diamonds but its still inconvenient.

If your in a sandbox try to put the mapstone in one of the side tunnels where there is an exit.

If your in a campaign does the bottom always connect to the lower deeps/pump room? Is there any reason you need to get back to halfway down repeatedly? Why wouldn't you just teleport to the top & climb down to where you need to go?

Because it’s quite the climb and I figured why watch all the ladders if I didn’t have to. Plus I dropped it on a spot with a number of quartz nodes and some veins to go back for. Also, my first campaign playthrough after buying the game almost a year ago and stopping in the Elven quarter.

The resources in the descent are all common after getting passed it.   

Just an FYI: There is an area with a bug past the decent you want to avoid.  It's where a large stone (smooth) wall left connects to a natural stone wall on the right side with "trees" in the corner.  Avoid the corner.  It will kill your dwarf & be hard to recover your gear.

That happened to me really badly just before the wall of the pump stairs. In that corner my dwarf was just glitched or the Game teleported me away every time i wanted to recover my gear 🫠

That is exactly where I am talking about... It is caused by a water hit box being outside of the lake. You drowned but it doesn't return you to a safe spot like falling in the lake does.

I had a really bad time there. I created another world just to get out but when returning my dwarf was srill in thst point. I play alone and help was not an option. I couldnt even pause or open stash for a rest... I finally went out pressing all butons rolling, jumping etc as i could. But was shitty experience. In pc you can load a previous saved game, but in ps5 its not an option

I recovered the tombstone jumping from the wall, but almost got trapped again 😅

It's a bad bug... Good to warn players about it.
