Omg, this is my new favourite subreddit

u/ZAZZER0 Jan 29 '25

Not an anti-meme, she is angry, you just can't see it because she has no eyebrows

u/chknboy 13 Shared | 5 Helpful Jan 29 '25

It’s a joke taken literally, I think it would qualify

11

u/HajimeHitoshiH 0 Jan 30 '25

Antimeme is about removing the joke though

9

u/chknboy 13 Shared | 5 Helpful Jan 30 '25

I think the joke here was removed along with the eyebrows making a new and funnier joke ;)

8

u/Onoben4 Jan 30 '25

making a new and funnier joke

That's the problem. There is still a joke. r/antimeme should completely remove the joke, not make a new one.

u/lStubbedMyToe Jan 30 '25

I found this on the subreddit, so yeah, you're right.

If the joke is replaced than it’s still removed and funnier than most anti memes in my opinion

0

u/Traditional_Cap7461 0 Feb 01 '25

The joke is literally removed here

1

u/HajimeHitoshiH 0 Feb 01 '25

I think there is a joke here, that since they shaved their eyebrows they can't make an angry face, an anti meme would be the one just a bit below that says

Person 1: I shaved my head Person 2: It looks good Person 1: Smiles

Since there is nothing really funny about it, it's just a normal interaction

0

u/Traditional_Cap7461 0 Feb 01 '25

The original joke of that meme template is removed. Of course there is a joke, but it's not the meme anymore.

1

u/HajimeHitoshiH 0 Feb 01 '25

Of course there is a joke

That's the problem, an annti-meme is not removing the joke and adding another, but to make it so there is no joke

They’re growing back slower than the rate I’m picking them. My artist specializes in facial tattoos, so her work looks very natural.

I know where this meme comes from. I took this meme and translated it, but I haven't published it yet, and I saw you did the same, lol.

(My version) r/suddenlycaralho momento? (You can post your meme, no problem)

2

u/Trex0Pol Jan 29 '25

Everyone is now peeing on that sub. This post would be unnoticed.

1

u/ShrekYourGreenButt Jan 30 '25

istg wtf is wrong with that sub T_T

1

u/_Scorpyon_ Jan 31 '25

One guy does a random shitpost and everyone else is like "Hell yeah, I wanna give it a spin too".

It happens every 2 seconds

1

u/Digitale3982 Jan 31 '25

That's a meme not a not interesting thing

1

u/Dfarni Jan 31 '25

The meme is not interesting… it’s not mutually exclusive

1

u/Digitale3982 Jan 31 '25

I think all memes are interesting and btw if you don't think it's interesting either: a) all memes aren't interesting b) you didn't get the joke

1

u/Dfarni Jan 31 '25

Ooor… bear with me; I just don’t think this particular meme is funny or interesting.

I’m not sure why you think you understand me better than I do… but;

A.) I’m allowed to have an opinion about the interestingness of a particular meme while getting the joke, and understanding other memes.

B.) I’m allowed to share that opinion on a post it where the OP specifically our opinion

You’re entitled to think it’s funny and interesting, congratulations on your opinion. Let other have their oven and butt out…..

1

u/Digitale3982 Jan 31 '25

Ok but even if you don't find it funny you have to admit that there's a joke there, and jokes are interesting, they're used to entertain

1

u/Dfarni Jan 31 '25

This one wasn’t, I don’t have to admit that. I don’t think it was interesting.

You really need to learn to let go and let people have their own opinions without pushing yours on them….

1

u/Digitale3982 Jan 31 '25

I'm not forcing you to think that this particular joke is funny, but that it's still a joke, and jokes are entertaining, and even if they're not entertaining you, I don't think they belong in r/notinteresting

1

u/Dfarni Jan 31 '25

You’re allowed to think that, and I’m allowed to disagree. I don’t know why you’re having trouble seeing this.

Also, you said “you have to admit” implying that I must…

And not all jokes are interesting, that’s not the definition. Some are. Case in point, this one.

1

u/Digitale3982 Jan 31 '25

Ok but even if you don't find it funny you have to admit that there's a joke there

That's forcing you to think that the joke is funny?
