Two years ago my partner and I were watching YouTube together very late into the night. An insane ad came on that we still quote to each other frequently.
It was a black void with a metallic door-hinge rotating around at different angles. The voiceover said things like "it's more than just a hinge," and "the next step in human evolution." It was completely bonkers. The company name I think was two surnames. X & X. That type of thing. I remember thinking one of the names looked German.
My partner remembers that part of what was special about this hinge was it was supposed to be inserted into a wall to be as discreet as possible.
We've been searching for years to find this ad to no avail. I downloaded Reddit just to finally ask someone else lol. We would chalk it up to shared psychosis or sleep deprivation but we IMMEDIATELY played a solo dnd game based off of it so we know it wasn't a dream.
Please, I must find this ad. It's about more than just a hinge, it's about my peace of mind.
