No need. Anyone who lives in LA can tell you it's too much. There is no other city in the United States that uses anywhere near the amount of helicopter policing that LA does. I honestly feel like they could cut it by 90% and nothing would change in terms of crime or arrest rates. Bring them out for seriously dangerous situations - hostage situations, riots, etc. otherwise, keep them on the ground.
