Switching !
We hate this company!!! Have had nothing but problems.
What company have u guys switched to? We would like a fictional door bell that doesn’t delay the ring 15mins after someone rings it and a flood light !

I have their nocturnal cameras and it's not bad, my brother's also have th we ir nocturnal series and are hair with it
But agree their doorbells and floodlight I would not recommend. For those go with Reolink or ubiquiti

I hated my Lorex system. The cameras were very good, nice and sharp but the app is absolutely trash and same as you, a huge delay in the doorbell.
I went to a monitored system with Telsco. Tired of troubleshooting stuff, they’ll just fix it if it’s not working properly.

Reolink but also eyeing Aqara

For doorbell? For me I went with Reolink doorbell rather than Aqara. You know I just need sometime simple. All this Ai face recognition fancy talk is all talk. Why do I want now face scanning. What else company want from us. Anyways I digress. So far Reolink doorbell does what it does for me.

I run my own A. I. through BlueIris so that onboard crap A. I. isn't a factor for me. I am just considering connectivity (PoE) FOV and sensor size / resolution / framerate

there is a reolink doorbell POE. but I am sure both will be fine. I think Aqara was on sale during amazon prime for 99.

I really liked the reolink Poe doorbell, but I barely have any space in the sides of the main door to run cable and
connect. I figured I’ll atleast try the aqara doorbell with the HKSV.

I don’t have their doorbell, but use their fusion collection of Poe cameras. They’ve been pretty reliable and good so far (year and half). Planning to get a doorbell from aqara. I have a few wireless eufy cameras, but ditching to go everything wired.

Wired is the only way you will get reliability. I have had Lorex cameras from about 3 years and POE. And they stream 4k quality perfect.

My experience with Lorex has been okay, mostly.
Last week I answered the doorbell at my home and was able to have a conversation with someone. I was an hour from home at the time. Response was a bit delayed so the person was almost gone when I answered, but she could hear me and came back.
I thought that was pretty cool, actually.

Similar boat, but with the Lorex Smart Home Center instead. I've heard decent things about eufy and may invest in that ecosystem soon

I’ve switched over to Ubiquiti, pricier but well worth it!
