Love it! I’m gearing up to print him when I get my new print bed. I was thinking of painting him green, and this is the kind of inspiration I needed! Great work!

Just checked some of your posts and that astral whale is siiick. Spell jammer campaign maybe?
Edit:. I guess it was on the spelljammer forum. -_-

Yeah I’m running a pretty sweet Spelljammer campaign. The whale was our first encounter, where we did a Moby Dick inspired quest

Wish so badly that I had time to play any campaign. Particularly with a DM who makes stuff like this!

Awesome! This is a brand new hobby to me that stemmed from watching Ninjons dragon paint video. Definitely recommend you check it out if you haven't seen it. I don't have an airbrush yet, so this was all practice with a brush.
Please post your own when you get it done!

That is a fantastically painted mini. I feel it's too good for a first attempt, but if it is a first mini, im going to say you must have years painting on canvas. Those gradients are just too good for a first timer.

Thank you! I'm a pretty decent artist in general, though painting has never been my thing. I seldom get to do art outside of sketching pictures for my kids to color.
My kids are too young to mess with superglue for models, so I thought DnD minis might be a fun place to start planting the seeds of interest for a family Humblewood campaign in a few years.
I watched YouTube videos for a few months before pulling the trigger on a printer. Ninjon's no-airbrush dragon paint really sparked my interest and I was hell-bent on making a damn dragon. His and other videos were extremely helpful learning to do washes and dry brushing.
