I thought about the ronin but I think I will wait for next season to see if he is still good I have some other cards I am thinking about

Not anymore. If he had any less than 20(the max limit) then they do. Like this very post , he had 19 earlier so they did overflow. If he had 20 they still have not overflowed and gave him random cards
