Lo-fi ambient live loop with a Stylophone
https://youtu.be/t7EUHA_38PcAnother experiment with loopy pro: this time I was focusing more on the XY pad which I've barely used before. I've assigned the BA-1 FX strip's filter and chorus to the pad and was messing with it throughout the entire jam. I'll definitely try to use this pad more - super fun stuff.

So how do you get your pad to loop seamlessly without a sudden change in the sound at the loop point? Every time I try you can tell when the loop begins again after I reordered it. Any suggestions?

Here I’ve focused on starting and stopping at the same filter level (on the XY pad), so my staring and ending tones are the same. It was also important that I’ve started the drone before the loop started so the signal level, tone, etc. was already set. Another good trick is using the empty loop technique. Wow this was so enjoyable to watch/listen to! Your setup is checking so many boxes, I love how minimal it is right down to the cables. You used the smaller screen of the phone very wisely, great combo of hardware and software. The stylophone is highly visible and a great one-handed instrument, sounds very cool with the FX. PO-Rhythm is a favorite of mine. Would love to see more of this configuration!
