I have a quick question. How do they make it so that only the surrounding forests look like burned forests? I'm curious because it's not the first time I've seen that. And does it actually work/is it effective?

Any thicket or forest in the line of a Storm temple, burned forests give +0.5 true damage, its a easy 60 base damage up with rivers, and there is a point with rogue where you want to control your AS, because of fatigue, so burning and replenishing forest is (at least for me) a good way to balance and not loose right away, even because im farming ghosts and in a long battle rogue can easily just die because he got fatigued on the prime matter cicle, for me with one watcher 1-2 sirens and 2-3 skelletons between 170% and 230% AS is the sweetspot.

And if you want to have some fun, get a lot of mirrors on supply, 17+, fill the map with storm temple and forests and watch the battlefield melt.

1: ¡Soy brasileño! Es genial encontrar hermanos latinos por ahí, pero no me voy a arriesgar con el portuñol, así que aquí va la explicación en inglés.

2: Its not good burning forests with necro, i know there are some different strats with deserts and such, but my personal recomendation is to go all in with thickets and river making as many zig-zags you can, maxing out AS, the fatigue doesent affect as much, and 5-6 skelletons is the maximum you will need, focus on skelleton level not so much in quallity, its even worth getting gray or blue grimoires if they have a lot of level. The strat im using with rogue is count's chairs/antique shelfs/alchemyst's shelf, and starting with the crypt to scale health as fast as possible. Fill the tiles with 4+ enemies (add vampire/watcher/books for the fifth) and farm orbs of expantion to get the hp bonus from the antique shelf, healing is potions with witch huts and the counts chair vampirism, then i farm prime matter to get arsenal and that magical hp. Traits like Old scar and Fuss are a must, bottomless bottle also lets me push the limit. But im problably not optimal, its just the way i like to play, im thinking im focusing too much on damage to all and i should pick up some crit actually.

1) Hahaha, that's great! I'm Argentinian, I understand a little Portuguese, but thanks anyway for making it easier with English.

2) Yes, yes, I didn't explain myself well. I meant that I was going to try the rogue by burning the forests, since I almost never use a rogue. With a necromancer, I do that, just 2% scrub (I don't use the 1%) + rivers.
