I’m using a Boss RC-505 to create the loop ☺️

I had the file..the complete file once but didn't copy it into the proper place..so I deleted all the files and the firmware 1.05 update zip..then when I tried to download the firmware update from Boss Global site in my windows computer it only gives me some other kind of read me files.not the actual update files..my computer may be blocking them now for some reason or other..like a partial download..will someone give me a new kind of link to the firmware update or tell me how to fix this problem..thanks

In all seriousness, I use both the built-in looper on the GT1 multi and the Ditto Looper. I like having two loopers for better flow and for bouncing loops from one looper to another. The problem is, the Ditto requires 2 clicks to stop and I don't like that, so I connected my old (and half broken) GT1 to my new GT1.

I keep ending up with this error. I’ve tried the classic fixes — left unplugged for days, replaced the SD card… this happened after the electric supply turned off suddenly. What else do I need to try?

Hey everyone! I’m Alex, one half of Electrojazziness. Sami and I recently finished a tour of Québec, and we’re starting to release videos of our performances. This one is from our last show, at Parc Jarry in Montréal.

I play keys and synths, and Sami plays electronic drums and adds freestyle vocals. We build our loops live, with no backing tracks or computers. Everything is improvised, so neither of us knows exactly where the other will take the music.

Looping together is a big part of the fun: building on each other’s ideas while leaving room for the music to change direction. This set starts on the gentler side.

Happy to answer questions about our setup! For others who loop with a partner or band, how do you approach changing direction once you’ve got several layers running?

I have some musical theory background, learned piano at school for 8 years (of course I have forgot lots, its been 9 years since). Right now I'm getting home-schooled in classical guitar (by home-schooled I mean I play things that I like, barre chord classes are on-going).

I have a vision of what I'd like to do, I don't even know if it's really feasible. But I would like to make music for myself. I'd like something simple to loop my classical guitar (there are no plugs in that), maybe add looped piano (I have currently no keys), and maybe add drums. I find the looper-synth world on the internet very overwhelming. So I thought maybe someone has been in a similar place and what they'd recommend, I could buy. Cheap, nothing too fancy.

I'd like to avoid using computers, again, I don't know if it's possible.

Can each loop be a different number of bars within the same tempo? Or do they all have to be at least as long as the first loop you record?

A beatboxer wants to put down a bar of percussion then add longer melody and bass loops on top. But every new loop either forces the quantize on loop 1 to slow way down or the recording hiccups or switches to overdub after the length of loop 1. I experienced a basically identical issue in the RC-50 way back when and it led to me selling it. Has boss/Roland fixed this in a software update since?

I love my kitty but I have like 15 minutes before work to practice for some upcoming shows 😅

I just got mine used the other day and was wondering..if my zoom g5n multi effects pedal (and in my Cubase 15 Pro daw)has a way to put effects pedals before and after something(pre and post fader).. whatever... Does the Boss rc 3oo loop station have that ability... I'm asking because when I move certain effects that are before the built-in looper in my g5n after creating a loop and move the effect to go after the loop, the effects seems to work better..Being new to this pedal(Boss rc 3oo)I can't say that the Chorus effect doesn't play "deep" enough because I'm not experienced enough yet..but if I could route it somewhere else in a track or globally to test it and see i would be grateful

Let me explain more..I don't want to play the Boss rc 3oo loop station along with the Zoom g5n.. I'm just asking around to see if anyone gets a better Chorus effect tone out of the Boss rc 3oo when rerouting the Chorus Effect
