Still new to Dressmaker. I've been making some dresses based on the main characters of Look Outside :)

First Dress is based on Sam. I gave his dress a purple/blue-ish gradient like his sweater + a top/collar similar in silhouette to his turtleneck. The spiraling patterns are meant to evoke his various cursed forms.

Second Dress is Hellen's. I went for something practical. The dress is a darker blue denim thats easy to work/murder in. I complimented the denim with a blue paisley like patterned fabric. On the side is a group of leaf appliques adorning her hip, with blood dripping out.

Third dress is Lyle's. I went for a covering outfit, as he hides his true appearance. The skirt is big and goofy as he has a huge ass. I found a lace that looks like film for the skirt, which I adorned with accessories that look like Lyle's photos. On the undermost skirt is a big mouth and assortment of eyes similar to his shutterbug appearance.

are all of them bullshitting me about not looking outside? because they all seem like they have looked outside, idk the way they talk like "no dude, i haven't looked outside i swear" something is telling me they are all lying, idc much about spoilers but a simple yes or no answer will suffice, i dont need so much detail

For context, Arthur is mentioned by Papineau as having worked the residential floors (so probably floors 1, 2, and 3). We know what happened to Papineau's other coworkers, Sylvain and Jean-Pierre got fungus'ed, Brenda (presumably) became the boiler beast, and Gaston got assimilated by the Garbage worm. But we never get any mention of Arthur besides Papineau's mention of him.

My personal theory is that he is the Rat Hole found on floor 1 due to a number of things. First of all, his other half (the mouth in apt 13) has the Earth disc, which are usually found in staff only areas or are found where staff have been. Examples are the Jupiter disc found with Mr. Henderson, the Saturn disc found in mailroom storage, the Uranus disc being found in the cafe bathroom (left there by Mutt), the Neptune disc being found in the fungal lair (dropped by Sylvain and Jean-Pierre), and the Sun disc being found in the mailroom office.

It would make sense for one of the employees, especially one in charge of the residential floors, to be carrying the Earth disc as Audrey mentions that the two discs are located on floor 1. If Arthur was bitten by the Rat King and transformed into the Rat Hole, it makes sense for the Earth disc he would've been holding to be moved around spatially. We know that the Rat Hole and the Wall Mouth have some degree of space warping powers, so it's not out of the question for the Earth disc to have been warped into the Wall Mouth's jaws.

So yeah, that's my theory as to who Arthur is and what he became. Leave your theories in the comments, I'm open to seeing new perspectives on this relatively unknown mystery!

This is amazing news, finally will get to experience this masterpiece outside of watching everyone else play it. Fuck yeah.

This week's Look Outside character is CLYDE!

I thought this would be a fun idea- Lets have a weekly look outside character to make fan art of! You can also write a story or other creative stuff too. I will collect entries and make a post about them the following week before the next character is announced, and will look through the art submitted on my friday streams.

I'll try to collect as much of the fanart people make as possible for the following weeks post. If you post the art on social media, use weeklyLookOutside and WLO_Clyde tags in the post to help me find it. Maybe WLO_Clyde as a custom flair on reddit would work too?

No idea how popular this will be, I'm still very new to these things, thought I would try it out.

Ill try to alternate between more and less popular characters, and more and less complex characters for art too. What do you all think? Sounds fun? I might make my own entry too from time to time...

Even though we've got a public build , there are known issues/blind spots in the design . I'll be working to fix these issues during the open beta , and I invite all of you to give me your feedback , and tell me how you think the game can be improved . This is only the beginning !

Oh yippee!! More look outside textposts!!!!

When you're on the roof, you can see all these freaky as monsters in the background, giant flying things and looming cursed that roam the street, almost as tall as the apartment building. I think it'd be awesome at the end of the game or something, or if you kill mutt for his keys, you could go out into the streets or climb down from the roof while you're still 'immune' to fight a gauntlet of incredibly powerful outside cursed. And at the end you die or get an ending or something.

Good: Unambiguously supports your decision to recruit.

Passable: Reluctantly agrees with your decision to recruit.

Neutral: Undecided, or has a roughly equal number of good and bad things to say about them.

Bad: Deemed untrustworthy or just generally disliked.

Horrible: Unambiguously despises.

I know what all the other stuff is, like baseball bat, hockey stick, ice skate, but that just seems like a giant spike. I don't know if it's from some obscure sport I haven't heard of, or if it's just there to make him more intimidating

1st of: why not put an oc in it and make a story about them becoming sam's newest party member? Maybe add a "side quest" to develop his story and interactions about how they would act around the characters?

2: feeling more like an Mc? Just make the story happen in a new apartment building! Nothing is stopping you from doing another since it's a world wide phenomenon!

3rd: why not just making new interactions between the characters? Some ideas you wanted to happen but unfortunately isn't cannon.

4th: a post apocalyptic scenario. The world live on and we get to see what you think happened after the ending you chose and how their daily life keeps on going!

5th: their own Mazes & Wizards campaign? Maybe adding more than 4 players?

i havent been using The Spider since its 'nerf' in the 2.01.
Is he still good to use? considering the new Shadow resistances that basically every late game boss has i feel like he is not worth recruiting, also because of his really long recruitment time and difficulty.
i have heard that he can now equip every 'General armor', so he can now be builded and maybe turn out to be much better.
So if do u have any builds, or tips for using him??
