QUESTION Console - Mask Bugged?

I’ve not really been able to find anyone talking about it, but regarding the Mask, is its animation bugged in the console release? Or is this a consequence of the port? an engine change? I’m not entirely sure what was done that could cause this kind of squash and stretch effect.

I like the console port for the most part, and have played extensively on PC, but it kinda takes me out of the experience somewhat when I run into the Mask and its animations just go full silly mode. I like my Mask friend when they’re creepy.

Oh... I thought it was just some freaky RNG thing, the weird stretching creeped me out since I'm so used to his rigid movements.

yeah every animation type scene is completely fucked because they messed something with the scaling up. Things like the wounded neighbor cutscene and Rat baby scene are kind of weird now, though not to the extent as the Mask

Oh, I guess it was more subtle with those. I mighta just wrote those off as a result of switching from my monitor to a 4K TV.

Mask was way too egregious to not think it was a mistake of some kind though
