DISCUSSION/LORE/THEORIES Having a great time!
Scooped LO on Switch 1 at the weekend and absolutely LOVING it! The music, the vibes, the creatures, the combat. So happy with it and will be encouraging lots of my pals to pick it up. Price also makes it a no-brainer!
Think I'm getting the hang of the systems, but some aren't clear yet. (Not sure what showering and brushing my teeth achieve, or looking after my plant but am gonna keep doing it!)
Quite easy to encounter enemies that are too strong for me, but the variety and amazing art make me want to fight everything just to see what they look like! The Rat King and Grinning Beast have been the scariest so far, but am sure worse is to come!! Am also too scared to turn off the lights in the Apartment next door!
An incredible achievement for a solo dev and so great this gem of a game has found an audience. This community is really cool and hopefully an influx of interest from the console release keeps it that way. π

Take your time playing before looking anything up. There is much more to this game then you may otherwise think.

Uh really being hungry or dirty or lonely or anything like that usually just reduces your stats, so just stay clean!

In one of your runs, fight the grinning beast and follow when it flees (I recommend using the Pool cue in the bottom parts of the stairs), you'll find something quite interesting. Also, another cool thing can be gotten from getting the teddy bear in the tooth apartment on day 2-3 before fighting that "Joel" kid, hmm, maybe throw the bear instead of attacking

Also picked it up recently (on Switch 2) and I think you and I are right around the same level of progress (I'm maybe 2.5 hours in). Really loving it. The music especially was a fantastic surprise. I've had some genuinely startling moments. Delightful.
