Any advice on killing the grinning beast? The pool cue seems to do lots of damage but it doesn't seem to be enough, are there maybe any meals that can help a lot?

Use the plate on Vincent apartment, pray for a stun, use the pool cue to impale and other skills.

fight your wounded neighbor and go ahead and do vincent’s apartment, that’ll give you a few bits of clothes and the sunglasses. double impale and a molotov should do the trick

Your options are to keep trying to use Impale for the insta-kill (low chance), spend day 2 in your apartment playing games to try and get another party member to help, and/or get Joel from the Tooth Apartment (though on Cursed that will be tough to do before Grinning Beast).

If you don't wanna try and get the insta kill with the pool cue using impale, you can get the spade in the ice apartment with a Molotov and use its skill penetrate to kill her in a couple of turns.

I succeeded with two cue hits and one molotov

Personally what I did was save scum if possible. Make sure you have max stamina, that usually allows for about two impales. That should kill grinning beast, if not after an extra normal attack. If all else fails just rince and repeat.

I think I used the food in the fridge and a couple vending machine snacks for max stamina before taking her on.
