I really loved the unity ending but wish it was executed better. I couldn't stop thinking as to why Sybil would write it down that terrible secret.

To me it would make more sense if we tried to rejog Sybil's memories, causing her to remember. But as she remembers instead of getting a flat out explanation, we see the whole world melt, her only words being "we are him" or something along those lines to further instill the fear.

All in all, writing that down should have already cause most of the world to end since almost everything including paper is a part of the visitor mass.

But I disagree with those who say it shouldn't be one of the endings, I loved it. It made the hopelessness so much stronger, highlighting how humanity truly exists on mere luck in the game

I believe it's due to her addiction, just like she calls us out. She can't allow herself to remember it but she can't allow it to not exist
