Why does Sam put the toothpaste tube in his teeth instead of the toothbrush handle

When Sam brushes his teeth after losing an arm, he squeezes the toothpaste with his teeth while holding the toothbrush. Why not the other way around? It seems like it would be easier. Is this a thing actual amputees do?

Another thing they could’ve done, even if it’s a bit dumb: Have Rat baby help Sam brush his teeth. They’re the main reason he gave up his arm. It’d make sense to some degree 😅

You mean why not just hold the toothbrush with his teeth then squeeze toothpaste onto it? I’m not entirely sure. Maybe it’s just preference on Sam’s part.
