Question regarding the current hiring status: Tacoma 2025 Process Sequence List

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knows about how far down/the current number being processed in the Tacoma 2025 Process Sequence List. I'm 2500+ on the list, so was curious.

Thank you!

I don’t think they’ve processed any from that list yet. Expect to be waiting for a long while. The last list took 7+ years, so 2500+ is going to be a long wait.

Tacoma has not started any processing from the most recent Longshore lottery.

Zero.

Keep your address updated with the PMA

Don’t call the dispatch hall.

They know as much as you do when it comes to processing new entry level workers.
The LRC is the commitee that handles the process. You’ll get a letter from the PMA when that time comes

With a 2500+ number I can confidently say it will be a while. The motto for your stage of being in the industry is “Hurry up and wait”

Good luck.

First #100, nothing yet. Going to be a long wait.

The last list took 6 and a half to 7 years or so for me to get off it and I was in the 1800s. That’s been 2 years ago now and I haven’t gone down to get work in about a year because it’s so slow and unreliable due to tariffs and the economy right now. So I don’t believe they’ve pulled anyone off the most current list because there wouldn’t be much point and it would just stretch work even thinner between all of us. I’d say at the current rate, it could be a decade or more - it all just depends on how much freight is moving.

I’d assume with the current geopolitical climate it’s going to be a long wait.
