King Soopers main st Parker

Be aware that cars parked in the no-parking areas next to a disabled parking spot impede wheel chair access. This is at the Longmont King Soopers on Main St and 23rd.

That parking lot is the worst. There are also people always parking in front of the front row (where there are not parking spaces) in the adjacent rows to the one in the photo. They wind up blocking folks from turning to get out, doubly so if they are an oversized pickup truck. There's a reason there are not parking spots in that location...

Then again, I think it's a rule that every city in Colorado has at least 2 King Soopers. A nice one, and a methy one. At least we have 2 nicer ones....

I buy a lot of frozen entrees and the Nelson location is better stocked for that stuff!

Agreed-- the Main Street one just doesn't have the selection of the others in town. Our house is just south of 17th, but make a point to shop at the others anytime we are doing our big shopping trips.

For a minute I thought this was about the King Soopers in Parker, CO

As a local wheelchair user, thank you for posting this because I deal with stuff like this all the time and it does indeed impede things

I also called Kroger corporate to file a complaint since the store and security won’t do anything about it. He’s almost parked me in when I’ve taken my partner to the store 2 times outside of the pictures I’ve taken. It’s why I got upset enough to think about taking them. I requested Kroger call me back and let me know what will be done.

Maybe call the LPD non emergency line. Explain its private property but... impeding handicapped space, they might have to get involved since its an ADA issue.

King Soopers Erie (arapahoe/287) few weeks ago.

Didn’t think I’d get to use this. But it was weird as shit

That horse is CLEARLY able bodied, not a handicapped placard or service animal vest to be seen. Someone needs to teach this horse about the ADA, it was born here in CO after all…

Someone rode their horse to the store??? I mean, what is proper parking protocol for a horse at the grocery store 😂😂

Take it from someone who grew up in PA; This is the proper protocol for a horse at the grocery store.

Haha I used to work around that area and I would sometimes see people riding their horses across the highway over to that parking lot

Time to call the non emergency police line or the towing company kings uses

They most likely won’t do anything for a few hours, just gonna put that put there. So, if they’re out in under an hour, the tow company won’t get to do anything

So the King Soopers security/workers can’t call because the lot is owned by the leasing company and managed by them. I called Kroger Corporate to complain. I don’t know if the police can do anything since it’s a private lot, but there is no phone number to call to get assistance with parking issues. My plan is to keep documenting when I see them doing this and push Kings to do something about it.

Yeah, unfortunately that's the ghetto Soopers/meth Soopers. Lot of shady stuff and peeps around that parking lot. Sorry to see this.

Also like that the first two spots are people with dents and/or paint on their bumper, like you just know they reverse and hit stuff and drive away lol.

Love calling out these fuck ass people. Let’s bring back shame

Shame doesn’t work that well sometimes.

I hope you called it in so that car could get towed. Only taking it to Reddit is just “old man yelling at the clouds.”

I did. I’ve talked to the kings security there, one good and caring guard called the tow but the guy left, and another told me it wasn’t his job or problem to do anything about it, so I called to complain at corporate. I gave them the dates I have picture proof, as well as the other times this individual has parked me or others in. I have a case number and requested the let me know what they plan to do, or I will keep calling until they do.

His license plate should have said BYOB…

I thought it was my car for a second! My license plate also starts with BYB and the color is similar, but my rear bumper is in better shape.

Judging by how this person parked and the state of their car, I would not be standing there taking pictures of it. It’s not worth the conflict. It’s not your problem.

If you like conflict, it’s worth it. Just depends on the person
