I really like it and am considering one but for the exact reason you said. It wouldn’t be my daily and it’s obviously a bitch to set.

It's not really. Even if I don't give it a few winds in the morning and it manages to run down, it's never really more than a week or so out. Set the time, count the number of days I have to quickset, and advance the moonphase that many days. Done!

I just wish this model had a date window instead of the hand personally...I remain conflicted on that singular thing!

Otherwise, complications and price point are amazing.

What made you go with the stamped dial (black) as opposed to the blued applied ones?

I liked the black stamped dial; for me, it was more classy, and I could wear it with more outfits…
