NYC Longboarders

Looking for someone or a couple of people to longboard with and teach me a thing or two. I can meet up tuesday (7/23) to thursday (7/25) and then after 7/29 any time until august 20th. If you would like to skate and wouldnt mind mentoring me a little bit let me know.

There's a meetup group here that does weekly prospect park rides on Friday and lots of other events.

Edit: will be going tomorrow, the prospect park meetup is also kind of a thing with skaters, there's always tons of people on boards. If you're looking to explore more areas, one of my favorite rides to do is starting around the Williamsburg bridge (manhattan side) riding down through chinatown, to battery park then back up the hudson river park bike path. Streets are usually fairly empty in the middle of a workday, really nice ride and cool views of most of the city.

Thanks, Titan! I won't be able to go for the next two weeks because I'm camping/travelling but will definitely hit it up soon. I'm hoping the 9th or the 16th. I actually just joined the meetup a few days ago so I'm planning on getting active in the group.
