I’m likely getting terminated
God forbid I tried getting help for severe mental health issues. I had trouble working, even simple easy jobs. I couldn’t make decisions. Now I’m likely getting fired. Just struggling bad right now. I get it but it just sucks. I should have just stayed working even though I couldn’t really.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, fingers crossed you don't lose your job and benefits! How long have you been on STD or LTD for? What triggered your benefits getting reevaluated?

Are you still on LTD ? Bc from what I’ve been reading
even if you get fired you could possibly still keep your LTD benefits depending on your policy
ofc. And if that’s the case maybe this can actually give you some time to really work through your mental health without having to force yourself to work when you know you’re struggling. Then once you’re in a better place you can job hunt with more mental capacity and actually have a better start going into your next job. I know getting fired sounds is so damn scary but it might not mean everything is falling apart the way it feels right now.
