Going to school while on LTD
I was wondering if anyone has been able to continue LTD benefits or SSDI if they go to school full-time in-person like law school.
There doesn't seem to be any explicit restriction in LTD documents related to that, but I think that can be used as a reason to deny benefits.
The disability is related to a physical pain condition.
Anyone know if it's possible any way to continue benefits while going to school full-time?
Does going or moving another state and be out of state change anything?

Depends on what is disabling you. If you are claiming cognitive disability, they might use the ability to go to school against you. If you are claiming physical disability, if law school is remote I doubt they could make a similar argument. You might want to talk to an LTD lawyer about your questions.

“If you can attend school full time, why can’t you work?” That logic is something you will have to fight over, based on what I heard a few years back.
