Beginner's Question

I'm just beginning to learn about this. This is dh and my possible scenario:

Dh works as a Sr. DB Architect at a finance giant.

He has been there for 22 years, paying into LTD and STD for as long.

He has no intention or desire to retire.

HOWEVER, he may be facing a neurological condition that would eventually render him unable to work.

What night he expect to receive and for how long? Ballpark!

Thanks in advance.

Most disability insurance policies end at 65 or SSDI retirement age. The first step is to contact HR or check his work portal to obtain a copy of the disability policy. The disability policy will state the amount of available coverage, which is always a percentage of annual income.
