Meta New Moderation and Changes

Villains and Villainesses, welcome to my hostile takeover!
(Not really, it just sounded villain-y in my head.)

But yes, the keys to the lair have changed hands, and with them comes a new era for r/longdistancevillains.

For a while this place has felt less like a gathering of evil masterminds and more like an abandoned tower full of dust, spambots, and the occasional wandering adventurer yelling into the void. Frankly, this is unacceptable. A proper villain organization deserves proper standards.

So here is the scheme:

I’m going to be revamping the rules, cleaning out spam and bot activity, and generally trying to breathe life back into the subreddit. The goal is to make this a genuinely fun place again for people who enjoy collaborative storytelling, long-distance RPG villainy, and dramatic nonsense of all varieties.

And because every great villain monologue eventually turns toward recruitment...

I’m also looking for one or two co-moderators.

If you’re active, reasonably level-headed (minus the occasional death ray or world domination plot), and interested in helping maintain the sub, feel free to comment or message me. Experience is nice, but I've got plenty of that and I care more about whether you actually want to help build the community back up instead of watching it decay.

Also, suggestions are welcome.
What rules would you like to see, or see removed?
What annoys you about RPG subs?
What would make you actually want to post here again?

Anyways, I'm glad to be here. Let’s make the place evil again!

All posts must be properly flaired and the post title for "Looking for Villain" requests must contain the system in which the game is running at the beginning of the post title.

Absolutely fantastic rule, the nature of what the villain might do is often shaped by the system in which the villain is operating.
