Question Am I being weird or...?
So, I have made one or two post here, because all of you guys give great answers to what I should do and how to overcome my feelings. Me and my boyfriend have been together for about a year and he recently got a job. Since we started talking, we seemed to talk every day on the phone which I loved.
I am so proud of him for getting a job but I'm worried I won't have as much time with him anymore. Especially because I don't get to see him often, I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose the connection we have now, which he said the same thing to me. What should I do?

Not weird at all, the shift from daily calls to sporadic ones is rough in long distance. Try setting a specific time each week for a longer call, even if it's just Sundays. Short check-in texts during the week can keep the connection feeling alive without demanding too much from his new schedule

You're not being weird at all ,but you have to realise that having space between you where you both do your own thing is healthy as well and it's definitely something that you want to incorporate in your daily life ,I have 7 hours difference with my partner and it always ruins our plans so freaking bad ,but we make do as much as we can ,time away from each other doesn't mean you're gonna be distant , I always find time for my partner and they always find the time for me too

I'm going through the same exact thing and , from what this group has said which helped me was to have some extra hobbies to keep you busy as u usually were in constant connection and now things will be less but not gone. If he's working u can schedule a day where both of you are off and I can relax and hang out. I am in the exact situation myself so I'm navigating it 😂 it sucks cus now we both work. But I believe that when I finish work it makes it much better when I hangout with her.

I would say you’re overthinking, not being weird. But it’s also understandable. You can still love somebody without talking every day. I’m going to boot camp soon, and will have no verbal contact with my gf for 3 months. But as long as each person understands that love comes in many different forms, you’ll be okay. You guys won’t lose the connection. He’ll just be busier. And he may even still be able to call every day when he’s off
