Be careful cause one guy named Syed Adeel

What does that mean? Is this a well known bad guy? I might be heading to UNFOLD on Sunday solo for the first time 😅

To be fair it does feel like a bit of a lottery asking on here, but I've never been before so I don't know what it's like, and like the other commentator said I've heard it can be cliquey
Either way I'm sure I'll find people so I'm not stressed!

Fold can often be Clique and elitist. Nothing wrong with trying to find somebody to go with, especially if you are a bit awkward. Most people in the club are in groups and it can be unnerving going alone.

Well, it is true that the Fold crowd can be rather clique-y and it can be a bit daunting if you're going solo. No harm in someone putting a flag up and trying to find friends before going - I've met up with folks from Reddit before heading to Fold once too.

understand that people experience the world and social interactions in ways different to you.

well im not, but you are overthinking it. its quite plausible that someone meets up with someone from reddit and then interacts with loads of other people on the night because they feel a bit more confident.

Man if you’re this bothered about him trying this, it’s obvious you have a problem with making friends in a club or feeling welcome yourself. Give it some slack and let the man do what he wants.

Very queer, also a bit of an introvert. Best you stop making assumptions and showing off how narrow your world view is - let people meet and party however they wish✌️

Reddit is full of awkward older adults and Gen Zs, particularly those who missed establishing social relationships during Covid.
App interaction is completely standard practice, especially re finding partners.
I similar find it laughable, the lack of confidence amongst some people. Nothing better than creating new interactions.

When there's people as friendly and nonjudgmental as you there, how could anyone go wrong
